Wow. Such a great place for my retirement function. Very friendly staff who can't do enough.

Was able to set up a tab to pay off later.

Food provided which had positive reviews. Was an open pub environment but everyone was so welcoming.

Great night with the retired firefighters last night. Fantastic buffet. Compliments to the staff.

Great bar. Went here to watch the Joshua v klitscho fight and the atmosphere was immense. Happy hour lasted about 4 hours so value for money was great.

Would recommend this bar for any major sporting event!

Great atmosphere in there yesterday, the bar staff were busy but I didn't have to wait long to get served. The Holy Show Band were top drawer as well

Did an acoustic gig here. The food was lovely and the staff were great, really helpful. Nice crowd....had a birthday in and they really went for it...dancing and singing.

Cant wait to return, not just as an act but i work in selly oak so will definately stop in for a jar before heading home anyway!!

Came across this place randomly while walking back to where we were staying. So shocked at from the outside to inside how different it was it was soo clean , lovely big well lit beer garden all was well presented. Ordered food and spent the night there drinking. Amazing food best steak ive had in a long time and came in good time too. The staff you couldn't fault them they were so friendly and helpful. There was live music from a band ( can't remember the name) then then they had a dj in house it was a place of all sorts. I liked it and would recommend to any visiting Birmingham. Have nothing bad to say keeep up the good work guys .. xx

Found Hennessy's by accident. 17 of us the morning after a great Stag night arrived for breakfast. All of us were well served and made very welcome, thank you, it was appreciated.

Always come here to watch the footy, but the second England game was packed to the ratfters and to get served was a bit of a nightmare.Then closing the bar for 1/2 hour cause a few blues fans were having a sing song and got a bit rowdy proper put a dampener on the afternoon/evening. Everyone was having a good time but it soon emptied shame really.

A very smart pub/club with a great beer garden.

Good food and Guinness but sadly no ale not even Smithwicks

We had a fab night last night, lovely atmosphere, the band were brilliant. Shame about the slow inexperienced bar staff. Too long to wait at the bar, they didn’t keep track of who was next, and didn’t know the ingredients of the drinks ordered. We will definitely come again, hopefully this was a one off, because everything else was fab.

Was intending to try out your lovely establishment yesterday for the first time after attending the St Patrick's day celebrations in Digbeth..... disappointed to find you were charging £5 per head entry..... ☹

Takes ages to get served even when the bar is empty and then the staff are rude brought the same drink as the person standing next to me and got charged 10p more..... Don't think you will be seeing me in here again

Only been a couple of times when I’m in Birmingham seeing family but have to admit I think the sour face manageress has a alcohol problem! Forever demanding drinks! Seen her argue a few times on customers 2! must be why there is never the same staff serving me! Brings the pub down if you ask me! Great dj + decorated + clean I must admit

I’ve probably been in once every four to six weeks since moving to Digbeth. It’s pretty good value for money for drinks and food but when it’s busy the bar staff seem to struggle, particularly in terms of seeing who’s next. Today was definitely an example of that.



After ten minutes at the bar, watching others get there after me but be served ahead of me (all of them getting five drinks or more - I only wanted one!), I went into the garden area and thought I’d ask for a drink from the outside bar. When I was told my choice of pint was not available from there, I explained what had just happened. The barperson replied, “well, that’s not my problem.”



Simply put, a comment about poor customer service should never elicit such a response from a member of staff. From my many years in the service industry, I can assure you that any employee of mine that had said that would have had it made crystal clear to them that it was not acceptable.



Long story cut short, I left the bar immediately, texted my friends accordingly and we are now in my apartment, listening to the match on the radio. I shan’t be coming back but felt you should be made aware.

I visited-here on St Patrick day the barmaid told me I’d have wait as I’m not a regular although I wait I the queue ignored for hour then with crossed arm asked me what I wanted

A warm welcome awaits I don’t think.
