Henry Burton Cycles

Found the perfect bike for me!! Went in late in the afternoon expecting to be rushed into a purchase (previous experience at specialized). I explained how my crosstrail agrivated a bulging c6 on my spine due to the riding position.
After a number of different headstock and handlebar combinations I ended up with the perfect bike and riding position for me!
Nothing was too much trouble even though it was so late in the day.

After a bit of a disaster with some wheels on second hand bike, friends recommended Henry Burton and I wasn't disappointed. Richard their wheel builder, came to the rescue and brought them back to as-new condition.

There is not one part of the process I could fault. Richard promised the wheels in a certain time frame and they were actually finished early.

I'm pretty good mechanically with the bike, but if ever I was stuck I wouldn't hesitate returning to Henry Burtons

These chaps are just the best. I went to them with a problem with the wheels for not a bike, but a wheelchair !!. They sorted out the problem, and changed over the brakes & the levers. I am absolutely delighted and done in really quick time. I cant thank them enough.

Henry Burton was suggested to me by a friend very knowledgeable on bikes. I wanted the rear gear sprocket changed on my 40 year old Dawes Mirage. I had previously made enquires at other cycle shops but they didn't have the knowledge or experience to undertake the work. Henry Burton instantly had the solution and upgraded the sprockets from a five to a six set meaning that I can now climb hills that I previously couldn't! Very pleased with the work done

Just purchased my new hybrid cycle from Henry Burton cycles,And what a pleasant experience it was !! The staff are great and John Burton has such a wealth of experience (40 years I believe).I would recommend Henry Burton cycles to anybody !! I might also add that the back up service is excellent.

Put my mountain bike in for a full service a few weeks ago and it's never been the same since. When I got home with the bike the brake calipers were loose and I had to tighten them myself, now they need replaced completely. The drivetrain feels grainy and the chain was replaced for a new one at the time but he said it was a cheap chain but did not give it back to me. I have had to fork out more money to fix these errors. Would not recommend.

The owner was less than helpful and actually quite rude to me.
