Remodeling is another of the fantastic services that we offer at Henry D Johnstone Jewellers. It allows you to maintain the sentimentality of certain pieces of jewellery without necessarily keeping the exact same design. Just because something is old, doesn't mean it can't look new again. Its amazing how many people will wear pieces of jewellery that they are no longer in love with simply because they hold a special place in their heart. What we offer is a way to wear jewell...ery you like the look of by using the materials taken directly from your own pieces of jewellery, to create something brand new, whilst maintaining the emotion behind it. In this case we have used the customers old gold, stones from a pendant and 2 other rings, one being a ring inherited from a grandmother to create this beautfiful multi stone dress ring. If you are in doubt as to whether we can remodel your beloved items, then bring them into either of our branches, (Poynton or Alderley Edge) and let us assist you in creating a heart-felt, memorable, piece of jewellery to last for generations.

We can provide fully documented and up to date valuations on your items for a small fee, meaning that insurance companies have all the details they could ever need to ensure your jewellery is replaced, if the worst were to happen. Outstanding customer service, outstanding jewellery, outstanding overall experience!

No review will ever do justice to the craftsmanship of Henry Johnson's rings. I didn't realise how crucial a decent jeweller would be leading up to my wedding day: I had a few issues with my engagement ring (NOT made by Henry!) and I was a bit distraught (understatement of the century!). When we went into the store, Chris was so lovely with me. He supported me, listened to my concerns and offered me several options as to how it could be recified. Henry's ended up rebuilding the ring from scratch and I've not had an issue since. This alone was enough, as they gave me confidence to wear my ring and not be afraid to break it! So it was easy to decide where to go for our wedding bands. Again, Chris was patient, caring and knowledgeable and helped us choose rings we will love forever. Every time I called I was treated like a life-long friend and it seemed they were just as excited about my wedding as I was! Henry's cleaned and replated my engagement ring before the wedding and both looked beautiful on the day.



I will not go anywhere else for my jewelry. So highly recommended! �����

I can not recommend these guys enough. Helping me to choose the right engagement ring with a very short turn around to the beautiful wedding rings we selected. Lee at the Poynton store is such a helpful and friendly chap, who made the whole experience personal and enjoyable!

I asked Henry if he would be able to change my old engagement ring into a necklace for my daughter's 18th & he said he could. We live in Sydney so not an easy feat trying to discuss designs but I sent some photos of ideas by email & in return Henry sent some possible hand drawn designs. We selected one unanimously & he used the diamond & gold from my ring to create the most perfect gift for her birthday. We only arrived back in the UK a couple of days before her birthday so on the actual day we took her along to the Alderley Edge branch as a surprise for her to choose the chain she wanted. She was blown away & very emotional but loved it.

Thanks Henry for making the whole process so easy & giving our daughter a special gift to treasure.
