About Henry'S Kitchen

Independent restaurant in Bridge Road East Molesey offering local seasonal & ethical food. Twitter henryskitchenuk.

Henry'S Kitchen Description

Henry’s Kitchen is the first restaurant in Elmbridge Borough to be run as an eco-friendly sustainable restaurant. We are independent, family owned and accredited by the Sustainable Restaurant Association.

We are a focal point in the Molesey community for good food & service, we respect the planet, the history of Hampton Court Palace, the River and our neighbours in Bridge Road.

We have a timber shop front and the interior cladding and tables are reclaimed timber from Surrey.

We offer ethical food choices such as meat, diary and fish. This is important since stocks of some fish are seriously at risk. We source local seasonal and ethical produce and local drinks too.

We're committed to give local people opportunities to showcase food & drinks. We help local young artists entertain diners.

Henry's Kitchen manages the environmental impacts of its operation by using recycled glasses and recycled paper for our menus and bags. We monitor our water consumption, use LED lighting and eco cleaning products.

We are proud to support The Princess Alice Hospice and 50p from one starter and 50p from one main course is donated to our friends at the hospice.

We are very excited to hear that our open Mic, on Thursdays, is prominent enough to gain the attention of the popular ITV show "The VOICE", which is coming to Henry's Kitchen for second year running to listen to some of our talented singers. If you would like a chance to sing or to support your local musicians, join us on the 14th of May at Henry's Kitchen in Hampton Court.

We are pleased to announce that one of our singers; Jo Agyeman who auditioned for the popular ITV program "The Voice" at Henry's Kitchen, Open Mic last month, is invited back for another audition. Good Look Jo !

Water is integral to the creation of a perfect cup of coffee.
Water is also integral to the lives of the farmers who grow our coffee. 663 million people around the world do not have access to safe, clean water. Since 2011, Project Waterfall has raised over £600,000 and delivered clean drinking water to over 24,000 people in Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia. Access to clean water can break the cycle of poverty. Clean water not only improves the health and well-being of communities facing the global water crisis; it also means great access to education, income and ultimately a better life.#UKCOFFEEWEEK

You can’t make coffee without fresh water - but more importantly we can’t live healthy lives without fresh water either. It is our most precious resource, so I am very proud to be a part of any initiative which extols the virtues of coffee with friends while helping provide fresh water for those who most need it. — Stephen Fry Come over and order a cup of coffee this week helping us to raise money for such a good cause. #UKCOFFEEWEEK

Was ordering our Christmas Turkey from the local butcher, when we decided to grab a bite to eat, and randomly walked into Henry’s Kitchen. It turned out to be a great find. Nice food and some interesting and lovely menu choices. Food was lovely, ambience was great, service was great. Will definitely be going back😀👍

User

Had a lovely morning today at the cafe. Lovely setting, lots of space for buggies and lots of seats and high chairs. Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, where as some cafes can make mum and babies feel a pain.

User

Great food & friendly staff makes for a great atmosphere.

User

Friendly efficient service. Love the decor! Cappuccino so nice, had to have two. Wasn't planning on eating, but when I saw the ham & cheese sandwich dipped in egg & fried, I couldn't resist. And was very pleased I did. Delicious!!!! Will be back to try out something else on the menu soon!!

User

First time here and somewhere we will definitely

be coming back to! The hummus and guacamole with the Jane breakfast was outstanding, and the haddock worked exquisitely with the sweet potato fries and poached egg. Extraordinary food, lovely friendly staff and reasonable prices (especially for Hampton Court) - we will definitely be back for more!

User

User

Absolutely love this place. If you believe in love at first bite, then head here for breakfast. Genius decor and menu. Great service. Great food. Great coffee. Thinking of making it my new out of office office.

User

A really pleasant atmosphere great service from freindly staff. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

User

Went here for drinks & open mic Thursday nights 8-10pm - lovely ambience & smiley service too! Fab music!

User

Great food! It was a busy Sunday morning and I had the and breakfast of scrambled eggs chorizo and sweet potato fries, they were fantastic. Good coffee sunshine in the street what's not to like?

Only reason I'm not giving a five star review is it took me three or four times asking for a glass of water before I actually got it. Otherwise highly recommended for a sunny brunch.

User

Freshly prepared food at very reasonable prices. Had a lovely friendly atmosphere, very welcoming to families and couples. We would definitely pop in again if we were in the area and would recommend it to others!

User

Staff friendly . Ordered tortilla filled with chicken with sour cream .. didn't get what I was expecting. Chicken very dry tortilla almost burnt .. expensive for portion size .

User

Honestly disappointing - only two couples in the restaurant and still couldn't get service - has to call a waitress every time we wanted a drink. Food was ok, but menu online not the same as in house. Sauce on burger was too spicy, but fries ans onion rings were nice. The Banoffie pie was more of a cheesecake with a very acid tang I couldn't place so not keen, but my husband loves his Eton mess. Henrys in Esher is much better won't come here again ...

User

Boring bland food with a dash of food poisoning, friendly waiters but that’s about it, totally unacceptable to serve food like that to a family including my pregnant wife.

We’ve been up most of the night dealing with sick children. If it looks busy it’s only because of tourists, I doubt these are returning customers.

Won’t recommend.
