We came today and Jonathan was a superb guide and really great instructor, informative and patient. Both my partner and I had a great day and I finally managed to hit some clays before we left. Thank you very much.

Visited for a 32 shot clay shooting experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great coaching from Steve, clear and concise, and a variety of targets to try. Lovely setting and a great clubhouse. Would definitely recommend it.

The H&WSG is a great place to learn and practice your clay Shooting. The team - across the whole staff- are very friendly, helpful and above all complete professionals. I’m really pleased I found it and my Shooting has improved immensely. I’ve found great shooting partners and live my time here.

Our family group had a super afternoon here. Paul was our instructor and was super. He talked us through safety and then through each different clay. We moved around to various sites where clays were released with very different trajectories. Paul explains how to get the best out of each shot and was really patient with us. It was our first time shooting as an experience for my husbands 50th but it's something we will be doing again. My daughters and their partners enjoyed the competition and we all loved the family time together. Super club house hospitality following our shoot too. Thank Paul for a lovely afternoon.

My friends had bought me this for my birthday present and it was probably one the best presents I've ever had. I imagined the set up was going to be similar to a golf range with everyone stood lined up. But how different it was. The reception/bar/coffee area was set up like a old fashioned shooting lodge, very quaint and lovely. Before we met our pro we were approached by Andy, very funny man that settled any nerves we may have had. Kevin was our pro and he was great, another funny man that made the experience a very memorable one. Although it was a relaxed atmosphere we also felt very safe with full, clear instructions and safety was paramount. The shooting area was in a wood and at the edge of a hedgerow. There were different areas to shoot from with different challenges to make it interesting. We also thought we would be there shooting for about 45 mins but altogether it was a couple of well spent hours. We cannot wait to go again and hopefully meet up with Andy and Kevin. Thank you.

My 1st time at HWSG, a great venue in the middle of nowhere! My Wife and I & others were guests of Tooling Company WNT, they and HWSG put on a superb days shooting. Each stand had its own coach and gun where other grounds sometimes have 1 coach going from stand to stand, hats off to these chaps who were so patient with those of us who either hadn't shot at all before or not for many years. I used to shoot Skeet and Sporting about 25 years ago & was a bit rusty!, so I was very pleased to come 3rd overall getting a trophy and money prize. A fantastic day, highly recommended if you get the chance.
