#SummerLeagueSquash drew to a close on Thursday and saw “Team Drop” beat “Team Serve” in the big Final. Congratulations to “Team Drop” who have been consistent throughout finishing 2nd in the league also 🏅🏆🥈 Thursday night’s have been buzzing this Summer with 8 teams of 3 turning in every week to play competitive squash, and then enjoy food, drinks & laughs in the bar afterwards 🍕🍻🤣. Thanks to each and every player that has played in the teams over the 10 weeks, and made it run so successfully! And also thanks to Tej for organising every week, and making it run so smoothly and enjoyable for everyone involved 👏🏻👌🏻🙌🏻 Here are a few pics from the Finals Night.

Not only is our Summer of #LoveIsland drawing to a close 😩, but #SummerLeagueSquash is also reaching it’s finale 😩. Over the past 10 weeks we have encountered similar levels of enjoyment and seen friendships blossom, a whole lotta laughter...and of course, some bloody good squash thrown in there too. This Thursday Team “Serve” play Team “Drop” in the Final of the Knockout Competition. The 3rd & 4th place playoff sees Team “Nick” v Team “Volley”. Team “Lob” play Team “T” to ...decide 5th & 6th places. And finally Team “Drive” play Team “Boast” to decide 7th & 8th positions. Team “Nick” won the league overall winning an impressive 6 of 7 games! #squash #hereford

#SummerLeagueSquash has reached the final league stages after an extremely successful run of fantastic squash, and great camaraderie. “Team Nick” extended their lead at the top of the table after 7 games with 6 wins overall. This Thursday sees the first round of the knockout stages with league positions 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, and 4v5. A top of the table clash saw Team Nick beat Team Drop in Week 5 of #SummerLeagueSquash and helped them regain the top spot. At the other end of the table Team Boast got their first win of the competition under their belt 🙌🏻. Week 3 of #SummerLeagueSquash saw Teams “Drop” and “Lob” continue their formidable form and sit pretty at 1st & 2nd in the league positions. Team “Nick” won on Thursday to see them climb back up the table into 3rd. Another brilliant evening of competitive squash & fun in the bar afterwards 🍻👍🏻😎. Great to see many people coming down just to support their fellow members or family too 👌🏻. Here are a few action shots from some of the matches...

*Summer League Squash* continued in fabulous form last Thursday, which now sees Team “Drop” currently sitting pretty at the top of the league - Nick Hyett, Steve Rocke and Ken Jones all won their matches to climb the table. However, hot on their heels are Team “Lob”, closely followed by Team “Volley”. A fantastic evening’s entertainment yet again, and we were also joined by our pool team which added a great buzz too 🙌🏻.

What a fantastic opening night for our sporting event of the Summer ***Summer League Squash*** - 24 top players from around the County, making up 8 fiercely competitive teams, competing against each other in the league for 10 weeks, for 1 team of 3 players to eventually take the title. Last night saw Teams “Lob”, “Nick” and “Drop” all take the early lead in the league 🏆. With a Handicap system across all strings of players, it means every game should be extremely close...and last night was no exception 💪. Exemplary sportsmanship was shown by all players, 100% effort, and then beers, laughs, & food afterwards equalled a great night 😄. Thanks to Tej Saran for the smooth organisation of the evening 🙌🏻.

This amazing weather recently ☀️☀️☀️ has really got us in the mood to host our first Summer BBQ of the year 🍻🌭🥗🍖🥖🍓🍹. Hugely successful last year, we hope they will be bigger and better this Summer. Vegetarians, Vegans, Coeliacs, the health conscious, and full on Carnivores will all be catered for 👌🏻. This in an open house/garden event; so members please invite family and friends to join. If you are a neighbour of ours, or just happen to see this and fancy a night off from cooking; please feel welcome to join us also 😊. Fantastic food - refreshing drinks - great company.
