💫🌟🏆 Star Players of the week were Grace and Ryan 🙌🏼
Grace is starting to come out of her shell and her forehands are impressing the coaches. After only a few sessions, she is getting more and more confident at hitting her shots.
Ryan has a fantastic attitude and in his own words “did his best ever game of Tennis Cricket” 😱💪🏼 he was engaged and knew exactly where each player needed to be stood when playing doubles. He was helpful and knowledgable and thoroughly deserves the tr...ophy this week 😁

🌟 STAR PLAYERS 🌟 of the week are Maisy and Lily. The girls both played really well this week.
Maisy has been enjoying her tennis since joining after seeing her older sister Faye have lots of fun. She has picked up the new skills quickly and was starting to hit some confident serves. Coach Mollie was very impressed!
Lily was nominated by her fellow players as the player who they thought played the best throughout the second session. Lily enjoys her tennis and is hitting really... confidently, especially her backhand. What do you think of her pose this week? 😂

Star Players of the week went to newcomer George and relative newbie Leah 🌟🏆
George impressed Head Coach Nicola with his amazing groundstrokes, already hitting from the inside tramline of the Mini Red court 😱. He remembered his grip on the forehand and the backhand side and also hit some amazing volleys.
Leah has shown how quickly she has picked up tennis since joining the club. Her awareness of the ball is improving and she can keep the rally going using both her forehand an...d backhand. Her serve is also getting there too 🤗
Well done to all players, it is great seeing so many of you enjoying your tennis 🎾

Our Ladies team( Caroline, Debbie, Sarah and Denise) had an easy victory yesterday in the East Kent devision 2 league. Beating Deal 2 to make them champions of the division having won all their matches this season. Other players in previous matches were Isabel, Helen and Diana. Well done Ladies 👏👏👏 The match was watched by new team mascot Ernie 🐶

GB Davis Cup Team awarded a wild card for the revamped competition in 2019 👏🏼💪🏼🎾

Our 2018 Most Improved Boy trophy was awarded to Sam H.
With stiff competition from other talented up and comers, Sam continues to show how much he has improved over the past year. This was clearly evident during the Junior Finals day when he took home the U14 Boys Singles & Doubles trophies, played a great U18 Boys Singles Semi-Final (losing to eventual champion, Josh) and combined with partner Kimarie for the Runner-Up spot in the Mixed Doubles Final.

Calling all Ghouls and Ghosts 👻🕷🕸, our spookiest tournament of the year is back and we want to make it our biggest and best yet.
Monster Smash is back for the third year and we want it to be bigger and better than ever. We want as many of you to sign up and dress up in your best Halloween costume. Each year we have a great turnout and this year the coaches will be going all out with their costumes. Remember, the best dressed will win a special prize.
The tournament will be on... Saturday 27th October @ 9-11am for all Mini Red, Mini Orange and Mini Green players.
Entry: £8 per player Prizes, Certificates and Best Dressed Winner
We ask that parents bring a plate for the table.

We had the pleasure this Saturday of awarding our Most Improved trophies to two very deserving players.
Our 2018 Most Improved Girl trophy was awarded to Lois. Lois has been coming to regular coaching on Saturdays since last summer and we have been really impressed with her continued improvement.

This weeks 🌟 Star Player 🏆 was awarded to Harry. As much as he asked Coach Dan during the session if he could be Star Player this week, Harry fully deserved it with his great serving. This week we were working on the chopper grip for the serve and making sure we were getting into the Usain Bolt ⚡️position.
Well done to all of the players this week, it was a fantastic turnout. In the second session we handed out the winners trophies for the club tournament. In the excitement, we forgot to award the second Star Player 😕

This is such a lovely, child and family friendly club without any pretence, whilst delivering top class coaching.

Thanks you so much Nicola, Charlie has really enjoyed the 6 weeks and has learnt alot. As we left he said miss you already. He loves his new tennis racket. Thank you.
