Excellent place to stay
Set in an excellent location Fiona welcomes guests into her beautiful home with a warm and friendly greeting. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with such attention to detail. Comfy beds with pristine white linen and fluffy luxurious towels. Fiona offers a superb choice at breakfast, catering for all tastes. The home made compote and yoghurt with honey is a delight. A lovely place to stay, Fiona is a brilliant host made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious. The house itself is amazing, the room we had was prefect in every way. Thank you again Fiona for letting us stay. Make sure you eat at The Swan pub just a few minutes walk from the house, the food was excellent.
Our group of 5 people took over Heron House for a wedding nearby. We stayed for two nights and it was perfect. The house is beautifully decorated, the beds very comfortable and our hostess cooked us the most delicious breakfasts each morning. We could not recommended it more highly. Suzie - 9-11 December 2011
