No sleep till Broxbourne! 😎 After the success of HAD’s charity golf day ⛳️ back in October, came our 24-hour gaming extravaganza entitled Insomnia! Thanks to all the gamers - big and small! - for making the event a big success and for raising a whopping £2,500 in the process! 💷 Now drop those joysticks and get some well-earned rest, we insist! 😴

Pain on the menu at Dilip's dinner party
Pharmacist Dilip Chauhan knows all about pain, but when he had an accident at a quiet dinner party at home he experienced it first hand.
The 56-year-old from Mill Hill in north London, was entertaining some friends when he reached for a nightcap for a guest from a two metre high balcony. He overstretched and, clutching a bottle of whisky, fell head first on to the concrete-based solid wood floor.

Walk this way!
Walkers and fun runners are invited to step right up to Campus West car park this Sunday, June 9 and raise funds for HAD in the annual Welwyn Hatfield Rotary Charity Spring Walk. Participants can choose to do six or 11 miles.
The walk will be officially opened by Welwyn Hatfield Deputy Mayor Peter Hebden at 9am. Places, at £10 each, are available at www.whwalk.org.uk or you can pay £12 on the day.
HAD spent a productive few hours at the North Herts and Stevenage Community Connections awareness day on 30 May. Venue was the Marriotts Sports Centre in Stevenage and our very own David Sims is pictured manning the HAD stand. Very enjoyable day and big thanks to Sam and the team for organising it. We'll be back next time Sam!
Just a quick reminder with our apologies that we are closed this afternoon for an important meeting. Normal service will resume on Tuesday morning at 9am.
Thanks as ever for your understanding.
Mama Mia!...Calling all Abba fans, have your hair permed and get the glitter, flares, satin tops and stacked heels from the loft and get on down to Mill Green Golf Club on Saturday 8 June. That's when ABBA Tribute Band Sensation are putting on a fundraising show in aid of HAD. Tickets are £15 each with one free for every five sold. Fancy dress is optional, but you know it makes sense! Ticket holders only. For tickets/reservations contact Chris Myers on 07741 485856 or email him on crmyers@live.co.uk
We just wanted to say don't worry about the article in last week's Welwyn & Hatfield Times about The Woodside Centre being earmarked for redevelopment. We are not closing as a result of this decision, nor are we moving out of the Woodside Centre just yet. Please do consider us open for business as usual! PS, We find your concern extremely touching.
Putting in a few training miles in before this Sunday's St Albans Rotary Clubs Charity Cycle Ride. Once again raising money for HAD along with old faithfuls Matthew Smith, Altan Bekat and 'our 'arry (pictured), Giles Herman as well as the youngsters Elia Bishop Camba, Catherine Herman and Deniz Bekat. We all make up the 'We've HAD It' team. Doing 30 miles this year with the young pretenders. You can sponsor me here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/pa ul-bishophad19
