Ultimately we are a community based financial co-operative. We are owned by our members, and our profits are shared out to members in an annual dividend.

Many people see us as an ethical option compared to the high street banks because all our profits are returned to our members. Unlike a bank we are not owned by private shareholders. We also have no bonuses to pay to our staff. With no shareholders and bonuses to pay we can concentrate on providing better and cheaper services to our members in the local community.

We offer affordable services that compete with high street banks and other financial cooperatives. We also offer better short term loan options than pay day lenders and loan sharks. In addition to this we are as safe and secure as your high street bank. Like a bank we, and all credit unions, are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority.
