Reasonably smooth rental, no issue with it. I will definitely rent again from this branch

Really bad experience. Staff don't answer the phones and they do not accept debit cards for booking (even if you have enough cash to buy the car upfront). Really bad company and bad policies.

On arrival we followed the hertz signs and ended up in the returns area,so had to pull over in a non-waiting area to get keys etc then drive back to the returns area to collect car. Much easier to walk. We were given 7 seater ford galaxy automatic upgrade instead of the Skoda manual we booked months ago so my husband was a bit annoyed. The lady named Greta was very polite and searched other locations for us. Having no luck she said she would call id any manual came back today which she did. We decided to keep the galaxy as its a great car to drive but it must be notes for Greta's hard work and remembering to think of us, she was dealing with a quite unpolite customer before me and didnt falter her professionalism. Will update our review once we return the vehicle in 2 weeks.

Incredibly unprofessional, rude and incompetent customer service and desk staff. Attempting to rent from this rental company has ruined my weekend. Please avoid

Long wait. Understaffed. But nice car.

Zero Stars--AVOID. The system won't let me give zero stars, but that's what they deserve. Had a reservation scheduled for 27 May 2017. The staff literally didn't turn up. No staff, no way to get your car, phoned the reservation line for assistance and the the best they could do was email the regional manager. I'm a Hertz Gold Member...but not anymore.

It's a 7am booking. We were told we could come at 630am to get the car when they open. Nobody came to the desk until 715am to tell us there's no car. He then disappeared completely from the counter. It's almost 8am. He doesn't care. All the other car rental companies are properly manned at the desk with at least 2 people. He did give us a free upgrade which I do appreciate though, until I went to collect the car and saw that all the car bays were full except for 3!!!! NO CAR?!?!???? (UPDATE) Hertz cars in the parking area is very far away. Avis, Budget and Europcars have their rentals literally at the front door. Anyway, I was told to drop off my keys at out of office hours drop box. They, very intelligently, placed this box inside the airport terminal, which also follows the same opening hours as them, which means you CAN'T really drop off after hours unless youtrust the security guard to drop it for you. This is really stupid. Knowing Hertz, they are probably going to charge me an extra day and I'll have to spend months contesting it.

Extremely pathetic experience. The guy at the counter at the time of check out was downright racist and the guy at the time of drop off wasn't available at the counter at all. On top of this, hertz charges you fuel holding deposit which they don't release until 5 business days after returning the car. WTF?

Unprofessional, inexperience, wasted my very valuable time.!

At the end having spent almost 2 hours, he gave me the car, when he could of done the necessary actions right at the beginning.

Terrible customer service! They cancelled our car hire which spoilt our day trip to the seaside. When we asked for a reason they could provide us with one. We were given a number to call to process the refund, which has not happened yet. Instead we have been the run around being passed from one person to the next. Disgusting company, quick to take your money but not quick to give you your money back.
