, This is where the Farnborough Hampshire Hertz's office really exists. The office advertised in Farnborough is a virtual office. You book your car online for Farnborough and when you go to pick it up you find out it's only a virtual office and you actually have to travel miles away to Basingstoke Hertz rental office to pick up your Farnborough car.

Outstanding service, and great car to boot. I requested a manual transmission. The car was almost brand new, couldn't have been nicer, and the man handling the transaction at the office was very kind and helpful. We wanted to catch an early train on Saturday morning, but the office didn't open early enough for us to turn it in and get to the train station on time. The accommodating woman in the office said she would be in early and we could turn it in and she would have someone drive us to the train station. Really outstanding in all respects.

i don't like being upgraded from a Corsa to a Qashqai... If I want a small car, there is a good a reason for that. I feel like being forced to get an expensive insurance

I cant understand why they advert yo hace Office in Farnborough, whenever reality os that they have an Office half an hour from Farnborough. You have to take a taxi, and they refund it.

So messed up. Booked a car with them for pick up at Farnborough airport. On the day I'm due to pick up the car I check the confirmation and notice that the postcode is in Basingstoke and not Farnborough. Call them up and ask, turns out the Farnborough office closed, so they renamed the Basingstoke branch Farnborough airport, and they send a driver to pick you up at Farnborough airport, drive you to Basingstoke where you rent the car, and then repeat in reverse when you drop the car off. The drivers who drove me there and back were nice enough, but it's highly misleading

Excellent experience with this office and their staff. There was an issue with my booking but it was all resolved with a good feeling and happy people helping and fact finding. A recommendation. My only negative keeping it from a 5 star is the location. However they do come and collect you from the local train station.
