As much as I like swanning about in shorts and flip flops I really do really love this time of year. The change in seasons. Gorgeous colours. And of course - hoards of beautiful children to photograph! (Thank you Kirsty Miller)

Here is a little peek at the first of many autumn mini photo sessions. However this one was extra special as Emilia won the shoot in the Positive touch summer raffle.
Positive Touch are such a fabulous group - they offer care and support to special care babies and their families at the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford. Whether it be raising money for food boxes,equipment or just sitting and listening when it really matters. They are there. Please pop over to their Facebook page to lend your support.

It's the last few days of the summer holidays and Elsie has informed me that she won't be going back to nursery on Wednesday! Hmmmm...... we'll see about that!
On the other hand her big brother cannot wait to start junior school. I think he is ready to get back to the regime!

These pictures were taken in the office at one of Guildford's finest estate agents. No travelling to a studio, with very little interruption to your working day. I think I made it as painless as possible!

Newborn babies always look so tiny and delicate in their Daddy's hands. That's love - right there!
My natural light 'in home' newborn photoshoots are about capturing the love and recording the tiny details. They are perfect for even the most camera shy parents.

Today I have been practising what I preach. So many summers have flown by without a single picture of me and my babies. This morning, when my 6 year old grabbed my phone out the bag and demanded to take some pictures, I decided to just go with the flow! How bad could it be? They can always be deleted!
So many people shy away from the camera for one reason or other - too fat, too old, too damn tired - but your kids don't care and neither should you. They just want to see you in the picture. To be there with them. So grab your phones and get snapping!
So here they are #nofilter ........ my little boy did a pretty good job didn't he!

I cannot recommend Hester enough. She did a morning’s shoot with me at my home, to capture some images for my personal training business that I can use on social media and my website. Hester did a lovely Christmas shoot of my 2 children as well as professional headshots for myself. As of course is bound to happen, my toddler daughter was not in the most cooperative of moods, but Hester remained relaxed, patient and calm and was still able to take the most beautiful shots. Hester came to the launch of my new fitness class. The lighting was tricky, in the dark with disco lights but she still got some fabulous shots showing the atmosphere of the class. We didn't notice she was there! Fantastic service, I can highly recommend her.

Aren't Hester's baby photos fabulous? But don't think that's all she does. She did a great shoot of me and my kids at Christmas, and the youngest is 32 - years, not months! The photos were great and Hester was happy to come at a time that suited us, and given that getting my two together with me is like herding cats, that was incredibly helpful. Thanks, Hester!
