Late night cooking and we've ended up with lovely peanutbutter cheesecake. Tastes great with a shot of hazelnut liqueur. Yum! One of the best photoshoot ever!

Quick walk to hunt for rainbows as conditions were perfect. Unfortunately thick blanket of clouds arrived with spotty showers but not at the same time hence just a few long exposure shots of our concrete jungle and it's nature near Castle Park, Bristol.

Few from my evening walk on Clifton Suspension Bridge - this time i went for black and white die to nice contrasts and lots of leading lines. Quite refreshing during recent heatwaves to feel a nice evening breeze brought to the gorge by high tide.

St Paul's Carnival 2018. Great food, nice weather (if you like 30°C heatwave that is), beautiful costumes and lots and lots of music. What a fantastic day that was! I hope it will now be every year at Bristol... 😉

Few snaps from Weston Air Show 2018. I wish I had more time to shoot all the sows, but my boy is even more fun! What a fantastic day on the beach!

A warm, sunny day I've spend on visiting Portishead and Clevedon, two nice tows with two completely different vibes. Portishead seem to grow a lot, turning into good place for a young professional to live in while being relatively close to vibrant city of Bristol. Clevedon in the meantime is having this distinctive "old school" feeling with lots of beautiful Victorian houses... Both equally nice in its own, unique way. As a bonus I've witnessed few fly-by's and seen acrobatics from Red Arrows from nearby Weston-super-Mare where there was an air show taking place. I will add few photos from that event soon as well. If you like it - share this post and give it a thumbs up. Thanks!

Quick trip to Yate Football Club ground to see annual The Bristol All American Car Show 2018 in Yate. Lots of beautiful cars and gorgeous weather (not for taking particularly helpful when taking photos though) - what a nice way of spending Sunday afternoon. Especially with the sounds of V8's reving in the background :)

So that's how me and my son celebrated yesterday's Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: to the sound of roaring supercharged V8's and, smell of exhaust fumes and lasers on the #MonsterJam in Cardiff. What a show that was!

Another beautiful weekend day so it could only mean one thing: road trip! Packed my cameras and spare batteries and set off to Castle Combe - a 14th century village. What a treat to relax on the soft grass with nothing but the birds singing... But still managed to took a few photos of that place. Enjoy, share or leave a comment if you liked it! :)

Taking opportunity of nice weather I've grabbed my camera, dusted off my mountain bike and took both for a spin to Bath, a beautiful city near Bristol, famous for its Roman-built baths, beautiful architecture and the unique character. A must-see if you're visiting South-West. Here you can see the 18th century Pulteney Bridge.

Clifton Suspension Bridge. Bristols' most famous landmark. It's been photographed so many times by so many people from so many angles, that I thought I'll never be posting any photos of this beautiful bridge to hear: "not another one" 😉
However, this bridge was my first subject to try out, new for me back then, HDR technique. And here we are, 2018, almost 10 years later I'm here again, taking bracketted shots of it... Few new angles this time, as I visited a museum atop of Ob...servatory located nearby. Even more beautiful vistas up there. Plus you can try Camera Obscura and wiev CSB via "pinhole". Choose a sunny day for that though 😉

Few from my yesterday's visit to a Avon Valley Railway where on the day me and my 4 yo boy could ride a 1944 WD132 "Sapper" steam engine with few dining coaches attached and a 1960 passenger diesel BR CLASS 107 DMU multiple unit cart. Diesel ride was very comfortable and warm while you could really get the spirit of past WW2 railway experience in the steam train. What a great day!

Few shots from tonight's sunset by M48 Bridge to Wales. Beautiful spot for a wildlife observations, however my subjects were more... stationary let's say 😃 Yet I used all my focal lengths between 11 and 200mm.
Hope you'll like them and don't forget to leave a comment if you do so or recommend it to your friends.
Thanks!

On the way for a meal on a very cold evening. It felt like... Zerodegrees 😁

It's this time of the year! Halloween coming soon so there was an 10th annual Bristol Zombie Walk organised for that occasion. After a walk among all the monsters and zombies in College Green the march started just after 1 PM. And I have to admit, some of the costumes were particularly disturbing and scary. Great fun but wouldn't like to meet any of them after dark. Well, would you?

Selection from today's walk at the 5th annual Wells Food Festival. Few nice bands, bit of a local cider and lots and lots... and lost of great looking local food, sweets and savouries. The only problem was that I only I have one stomach. ButI think I've managed OK. All thanks to Kitchen at Wells Food Festival. Thanks guys. What about the photos? Any opinions?

It's been a while since we've got a St Paul's Carnival in Bristol but apparently 2018 through to 2020 got secured budget and will happen, so next year this time... :)
In the meantime few snaps from year 2013. Hope you'll like it.
