It's amazing to think when I was a child this quarry on Cannock Chase was a gaping hole in the landscape. Lorries would be trundling up and down Chase road in Brocton. The quarrying finished a few years ago, it's now a serene landscape full of wildlife and the scars are healed. #nature. #Staffordshire #AONB #walking #thewonderofnature

Tissington is a great day out for visiting Well dressings. Only 30 minutes drive , lots of cafes, art and craft stalls, local produce, dance displays etc.

It's the time of year again for Welldressings. This ancient tradition unique in Derbyshire dates back to the Romans.
