Would like to say a big Thankyou to Hickories Castle Bromwich! Your team worked tirelessly yesterday to make sure everyone enjoyed. My daughter also lost £20, she didn’t realise until an hour or so - she was mortified. A lovely young lady (member of your team) picked it up and put it away in case someone claimed it - there are still some really lovely & honest people in the world �

Went to Hickory's for my belated birthday celebration, despite not having a reservation we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff and in no time had a table. Served by the lovely Tara, we enjoyed great food and a few drinks in a nice chilled out environment. Would definitely recommend and will be coming here again :)

Went here for a meal Saturday and had a lovely time. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our waiter in particular was able to make recommendations when we struggled to make choices. Food was great. Definitely will be returning in future

Staff are excellent from the bar to the kitchen. Great selection of drinks to choose from including 6x different Jim beans.



Try the psycho sauce ...... great flavour and a mild kick to get the taste buds going :-)

Just returned home from our meal at Hickorys, and it was so good I had to write a review almost straight away. Service was brilliant (I think our waitress was called Lilly?) Food came out quick and steak was cooked to perfection �� and if I was to start writing about how good the ice cream cookie sandwich was, I'd be here all night! Thank you for a great evening guys ��

It was our one year anniversary it was the first time we’d been to a Hickory Smokehouse. What an amazing experience, staff, ambience, food, drinks and decor were all better than expected. Such friendly staff, such wonderful food and the cocktails were superb too. Definitely be back..... great work guys, keep it up! ��

It was my first time. And I'll definitely be coming again!!!!! The food was awesome, my cocktail was amazing, the service was excellent, waitress Lilley was a dream. Very polite and accommodating. Lovely staff overall. Would be happy to recommend this place to any and everyone. Thank you for a lovely experience. Thumbs up guys �� keep up the good service.

Had to wait for a table on a busy Friday night but great atmosphere in the bar and Lovely cocktails!

Restaurant was packed but loads of staff about and the manager was also mucking in and having a laugh too. Food was amazing and served with a smile by Pete.

First visit to this Hickorys branch and couldn't fault it. Our food arrived amazingly fast, elsewhere I would have been suspicious that it wasn't fresh but it sure tasted it. Food as good as always and service too. The fried chicken starter is particularly tasty.

Fantastic service, fabulous food and friendly service. Our waiter Tim (who I think is the manager) was more than helpful and made my youngest daughters night. After she’d told him it was her 8th birthday coming up, he later bought out a happy birthday pudding!! Safe to say we left very happy customers. Thank you and would definitely recommend Hickory’s.

Brisket to die for and half a rack of ribs that could easily pass for a full rack at a generic restaurant. Brilliant food and love the bag of popcorn you get on arrival, really nice touch

Brilliant just returned home after visiting this restaurant for my birthday meal, i had burger,chilli cheese fries, food was great and tasty the attendants where very attentive and so happy and pleased to help your now a favourite of mine thank you

Very impressived with the place & nice little touches upon arrival with free popcorn & water (let’s be honest who doesn’t love a freebie 🙈) food very nice! The only reason I haven’t given a 5 star review is because we ordered the platter & as we were only sitted on a 2 table, there just wasn’t enough room for everything, not practical at all. Which would put me off from ordering that again if there was only 2 of us! Also we found the onion rings very greasy. Defo will be returning though, I fancy trying the XXXL Burger 🍔😋

Staff so friendly and helpful! When we got to our table they brought over popcorn and water which was a nice touch. The waiter asked if we needed any help or needed any recommendations. We had nachos and cheesy garlic dough balls which were AMAZING. For mains we had the XXXL burger which was lovely. The coleslaw on the side was just cabbage with mayo on but the rest of the meal was nice. My partner had the steak. When it arrived it was a tiny steak and just cane with the chips and a small pot of peppercorn sauce. No salad or onions rings like you’d get in a pub. For the price you’d expect a bit more or atleast a decent size steak. But apart from that the meal was lovely.

Had a nice meal for my mothers birthday , table of 8 ! Really friendly waitress who couldn't do enough for us , water and popcorn placed on the table as soon as we were seated, food came within a reasonable time considering how busy it was , would definitely recommend and go again.

Service is great 11/10 easyy did go above for us! But food i think its very rated was 9 of us and all agreed nothing great now been wont return.. but service great shame all places did staff this way! Good job �

Positives: blueberry lemonade was lovely, the burger meal was also really good. The manager did apologise and removed the meal of the bill after seeing it for himself.

Negatives: despite alot of staff it took ages to get anyone to speak too...the starters was awful both in amount and taste...the 'chargrilled' chicken skewers were literally burnt and charcoal. The mac and cheese tasted like fairy liquid it was really bizarre.

For the amount you pay this wouldn't be somewhere i woukd return even if it was just for the nice blueberry lemonade.
