What a place! Once in felt I could have been in Canada. Great service- thank you Rebecca - great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Spectacular cooking area and great looking bar with stylish seating. Love this place. Very well thought through...

Went for lunch today and as soon as we arrived the staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome.The place has a really nice atmosphere and is really clean and tidy. We were brought water over straight away which was great as it was a really hot day. We tried the new lunch menu which was really nice. My mum and sister would highly recommend the king prawn tacos and if you are going off the lunch menu go for the vegetarian caesar salad- it is amazing!!! My mum and sister got the BBQ 1/2 chicken which was a very generous portion. The lunch menu is great value for money! We also got the frozen custard out of intrigue and we were not disappointed. It was tasty and refreshing! We even got a happy birthday message on our dessert to celebrate my sister's birthday which was a really nice touch. Thank you for looking after us �

We visited for the first time this evening for my husband's birthday. Two adults and 3 children literally rolled out of there in a semi coma from all of the amazing food. All of the staff were attentive but not annoying (you know the type that come over every 2 seconds to ask if everything is ok). Perfect evening topped off with a cheeky birthday present for my hubby in the form of a bottle of Louisiana hot sauce. Very happy family will definitely visit again.

We loved the food, loved the venue and were blown away by the staff. Helpful, attentive and knew what they were talking about.

On the down side I'm still unsure of the children's Cinema room, think a play area or similar would have been better for my children.

We love it here. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is out of this world, and the place is amazing for kids.

They've thought of everything, and it's all those little touches that keep you going back again and again!

We came here tonight for the 1st time omg was amazing � fantastic food, fantastic friendly staff, Just could not fault the whole night at all. We shall be back to sample the rest of the menu � Thank you all so much xxx

We absolutely LOVE this place!! The food is fabulous, the staff are amazing and friendly, the surroundings are lovely and relaxed. Our Son, Logan is 11 and they always make him feel really special when we visit. Adam, Rich and Mikey are always making a fuss of him - it's his favourite place to go! We'd recommend it 100%!

Visited here for the first time tonight; it was amazing!! Lovely service from the beginning; food came quite quickly and didn’t disappoint. Me & my friend we’re looking at the next table’s puddings; campfire marshmallow looked amazing!! I had the pulled pork & cheese hotdog with fries; and had churros for pudding. It was delicious!! I asked for some more popcorn for the way home � I will defo be back again soon!! Xx

Staff are amazing! From the guy who sat us down to our waiter an the lady who checked and asked us if we were enjoying our meal. Couldn't fault them. Perfect attitude. So warm, friendly, helpful and poliet. Food was amazing. Will defintaly be back! But next time I'll leave the car at home because those cocktails looked amazing and 241 on a Friday night � The guy singing acoustic was also brilliant xxx

Regular visitor to Hickory s in West Kirby so a visit to Southport whilst seeing my son is a nice change.

Food is always consistent at all the Hickory locations - consistently good.

Like anything, the difference is how you are made feel during your visit...

Get met by a lovely lady Emily, very pleasant indeed. Blonde was banter - Yes.

Then Darien welcomed me son and I with a handshake � at the bar asked our 'name' and remembered about names during our time.

Another gentlemen behind the bar was also attentive.

Your people made the experience at Hickorys very pleasant indeed.

The staff are just the nicest most helpful people I’ve come across in a restarting before. Nothing is too much for them and they are absolutely fantastic with our children.

Just had our fifth visit here and my god are we lucky to have such a fantastic establishment on our doorstep! We’ve sampled quite a bit from the HUGE American breakfast to the 2 for £10 lunch and some fine dining from the main menu. I was waiting until we had our best experience before leaving a review but we believe tonight that happened! Food was amazing as always and would leave a 5* for that but for us tonight it was the service alone that made me hit the 5*, to “Em” thank you for treating our (7 year old) son like royalty and believing he made a real friend! A great big massive thank you! �����

Come here for food & few drinks.

Firstly have to say staff are fantastic and really helpful. Food was delicious and good portion sizes.The meals are roughly £15/20 per meal.

Also, For people who haven't been yet, I wasn't aware of a dress code before I came, This applies all times, Luckily I had jeans and a polo on, So I was okay haha. Would recommend.

Been here twice now food is amazing and drinks I would defo recommend great for the kiddies to go in the cinema all staff are lovely very friendly fantastic will be back again

1st visit yesterday and was very impressed. Had a friend from Denmark with us and he was blown away. Food was excellent, decor and gardens lovely. Staff top notch, very friendly and attentive. Our friend ordered an Espresso Martini and said its the best hes had. The barman even came over to see if he was enjoying it, on leaving he went over to the bar to compliment him on making the best martini ever. 10 out of 10 from us. Defo be back. ��

Service was fantastic, food was great. Only thing I can fault was that the drinks took to long to arrive. We ordered drinks when we went in whilst looking at the menu, before ordering food. We then ordered a second lot during our mains and they didn’t arrive until after our plates were taken and arrived just before the bill. However we would definitely return to Hickory’s 😊

The atmosphere was fabulous and you really felt like you’d arrived in the USA however the food was absolutely awful.. we ordered the ribs .. both styles.. (rubbed and in a hickory glaze) I can’t think of which one was worse... service wouldn’t have been accepted in the USA either.. sorry hickory smokehouse but that’s a thumbs down from us lot and we won’t be coming back..

We had table booked for 3.45 on Saturday we were taken to our table then we had look at menu then we put our order in on first impressions very nice really looking forward to it so we ordered drinks then more drinks then more drinks at this time it was 5.30 and still no food then one staff came over very nice helpfull and asked if the ticket she had in her hand was our order we said yes she was very sorry that this had happened and put our food order in right away and she came back with drinks for us and couldn’t apologise enough so the drinks we had were all on house so by time food came it was all very nice but we had gone passed it me and my husband which was is birthday to so my sons ate mine and dads that was my first time there

Could not fault or the food the service but the place was over run with screaming children numerous times had to catch drinks as table was barged into. As a parent I understand family dining but when paying for a meal at the prices in Hickory’s you would expect to be able to eat it. Loved the food but won’t return
