Hidden River Cabins

An experience not to be missed.

I can't praise this place enough for a get away. There isn't many places you can go where you can truly escape from the world. The accommodation is fantastic with even better views. The onsite restaurant is top quality. My only complaint.would be it is slightly on the pricey side; but you get what you pay for.

Brilliant place. Lovely cabins, great views. Great local walks along the river. Food in the cabin is very nice at reasonable prices. We always visit when we are in the area.

What a place absolutely beautiful.walks with my dogs excellent with many stunning views the family loved it as much as the dogs did sitting in the bath looking thru the window with them views stunning.in the hot tub listening to the river flow bye bliss I will be returning just me the wife and dogs for a short break soon then hopefully with the family again later in the year staff were very very helpful I didn't want to leave 5* through out

Cosy coffee shop in beautiful surroundings

Exceptional off the beaten track accommodation. We enjoyed our stay over a weekend. If you are not looking to cook whilst there the restaurant / cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as coffee and alcoholic beverages. Accommodation is a short drive off the M6 and is handy for Carlisle, Gretna and Longtown. This is a peaceful retreat ideal for families (although careful eye's will need to watch any little one's with no fence between cabin and river). Friends (Lot's of room to seat everyone). Sitting in a hot tub in this idyllic location can only be described as bliss. Will certainly look to come back!

Just back from a brilliant stay in Bluebell Cabin. There was a group of 7 of us and we all had the most amazing weekend! The cabin has everything you would need for a comfortable stay and the views are simply stunning! You can enjoy gorgeous river walks or just relaxing out in the hot tub overlooking the river. It was so secluded and peaceful it was truly wonderful. We will be returning. Thanks to all the team who assisted in all our needs throughout our stay.

Warm welcome again for our third stay in theses cabins. Fantastic position right next to the river and feels totally secluded. On a clear night the stars are wonderful as there is no light pollution. Will be returning.
