Hi, I'm Lauren.

I'm a married mother of 2 boys.

I have worked for the NHS for the past 20 years - 4 years were at Southend Hospital as a Healthcare Assistant on a Medical /Renal ward for 1 year then I spent 3 years at the Accident and Emergency Department. For the last 16 years I have worked on the frontline as an Emergency Medical Technician progressing to a Registered HCPC Ambulance and Rapid Response Paramedic with the London Ambulance Service. This role includes attending all areas of first aid, trauma, and basic and advanced life support.

I completed my CACHE Levels 1, 2 and 3 (Diploma) in Children and Young People's Workforce 0-19 years at The Tops Foundation Pre School, Wickford where I was a Volunteer Student and progressed to a Qualified Children's Practitioner.

I Qualified as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor after completing my training with the International Association of Infant Massage.

I have been a Year 11 Mentor at Castledon School, Wickford Giving advice and guidance to children with an EHC plan moving on to further education.

I also volunteer one evening a week at Little Havens Children's Hospice where I assist the Care Team supporting the children and their families.

I am very passionate about supporting children, their parents, families and caregivers to ensure that they are able to reach their full potential from birth onwards.
