Good flat campsite. Field is flat, grassy and well drained. Lots of space for tents and even more space for the kids to play. Usually quiet. Decent, clean facilities. Poor campsite shop but there's a Co-op about a mile away and a good chippy nearby. Good pubs within a mile in both directions.

Quiet, clean and very well kept
Excellent location for visiting London with a train to Marylebone within a mile, perfect base for my family and on edge of hodgemoor woods so plenty of wild life and red kites my kids loved it .

Showers, kitchen, laundry, play area. Great camp site in a nice rural location. If all sites were like this then I would happily camp more. Kids loved it.

What a grim place. The family who run it are arrogant, miserable and damn right greedy, they just want your money!!!!!
They charge you 20p or 50p for vile dirty showers, and the toilets are filthy!!!
This place is a disgrace to caravan and cam ping sites. The ginger women who I think is an owner and a dark haired short male, who i think is her son, have zero personilty and are sour faced cretins and need to get a sniff of the real world.
I have stayed in many caravan sites and this has to be the bottom of bottoms.
Save your money and time and book elsewhere. If I could have given a minus star I would have.

Stayed here over Easter i traveled up with family and stayed with my 8 year old.

First impressions i could not get over how flat the grass was, place looked really nice.

When we got there i explored the facility not checking before i was so impressed. A multi use shower room plus a couple single use and family shower. Coffee and hot chocolate machine very nice and a vending machine.

Shop did not have much brought some eggs home as they were really nice. Did not buy WiFi as seemed expensive.

There was heated washing up rooms a small TV room.

Kids loved the park and grass to play on couple local path we explored old woodland that was nice to explore

Can't wait to go back

It's an OK campsite. I definitely think it's way overpriced for what you get. I can't fault the kids playground or the actual with itself as it's well kept the toilets/shower facilities let it down. The toilets weren't clean. You had to pay 20p for a shower, which to be honest were rubbish. they got ridiculously hot to the point of burning . Thank God I didn't have my child in the shower with me.
All in all, we had a lovely time but I do think they need to drop the price or get the toilet/shower facilities better.

On the expensive side at £30, but amenities were spotlessly clean although you had to pay 20p for a shower, seemed rather petty. The playground was a big hit with the children and several of the adults. Overall a nice site with friendly staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would!

Owners are bitter, angry, raging, racists.

Overpriced by a long shot too!

Was a long term caravan tenant. Had an argument with my girlfriend, was cursing to myself in the communal washing up area afterwards: Went to apologise to the old lady and her laphusband for it any disruption I had caused and to offer my gardening services free for a weekend as an apology, and I was SHOUTED at by them that I'm vile gypsy scum (which I'm not, but is a racist and irrelevant judgment) and disgusting and given one day to move house. Bearing in mind that i always pay on time and am very tidy, smile and say hello to everyone I see!

The only decent one at the place is Alex, the manager, compared to those UKIP loving raging old skinbags. He talked them into giving me a week to go, but every time I saw them at reception (to pay a bill or buy eggs) I received further verbal abuse.

They are now asking anyone if they have seen me on the site since I have been banned, in an attempt to get my half Arab girlfriend to leave, who is the only non-white person on the site.

EVERYTHING IS OVERPRICED, THESE OWNERS ARE RIDICULOUSLY RACIST AND ABUSIVE. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE, IT WILL BE MUCH BETTER SPENT!

Really nice site near enough to walk to a couple of pubs for meals. The Chinese take away delivers here too.
The facilities are clean and ample. We had a lovely stay.
