Higher Rew Camping Park

A peaceful place to camp. Morning view from upper hill of the campsite is beautiful. A bit distanced from town, we drove into town instead of walking.

Had a wonderful time with friends at this campsite, close to the beach and some beautiful walks. The shop is open in the morning and the evening and offer fresh bread and croissants to order which keeps the children happy! You can also order a paper which is very convenient. Both Sue and Sarah that work in the shop couldn't be nicer. Nothing is too much trouble and I would def recommend to friends/family. Hope to visit next year!

Just stayed at Higher Rew, excellent campsite, i would describe the customer service from both Sue and Zara as 5 stars. Facilities Clean and tidy, nothing too much trouble. Even offer a bakery service of croissants for the mornings! Highly recommend.

We have been visiting Higher Rew for many years with our family , we couldn't be happier with the location, the facilities and the level of service received from the families that own and run the site. Nothing is too much trouble , they continue to be so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Perfect holidays year after year !

Called to enquire and make a booking the following weekend. Very rude unhelpful female with a Scottish accent answered initially incorrectly advising us it was a bank holiday weekend and fully booked. Having scratched heads and checked, I called back to advise it was not a bank holiday weekend. Further obstacles were offered to the point I actually questioned if they wanted my business at all?! Very poor service culminating with me advising that I did not want to book and then being hung-up on!

I am sure this female is not indicative of the campsite as there are many positive reviews, however we will never know as we did not even make it to the site. Very disappointing and customer service at its worst. I run my own business and if I treated my customers like that I would not be in business long.
