Big old farm house, with charm and warmth, and farm animals, a delight
Very friendly. Constable beds. The rooms are lovely - all you could ask for. Highly recommended.
A beautiful campsite on a working farm, wonderful views, swallows nesting, a lovely estuary with cows who are for ever entertaining to watch. A great kitchen with a fridge, kettle and microwave you can use and very friendly hosts. It has everything you could ask for from a simple campsite. Totally recommended. Incidentally if you are walking Hadrian's Wall you can leave your car there for a small fee and get the train/ bus back to collect it at the end. We did that and spent the first day walking to Bowness along the trail and then back along the estuary which was lovely
Campt here for two nights while walking hadrians wall a very nice campsite with a very friendly lady when you have questions about something she always took the time to give you the information needed toilet and shower where simple but clean and working kitchen area in the barnyard is good for sitting out of the wind and rain.
