Think your dog knows "sit" ? Try this with NO body language or instruction from you other than 1 command to call your dog and 1 sit command. Keep your arms folded and if they do it, lot's of praise. Share your videos in the comments and also your fails as they are the funniest fails. Remember to send your dog away in between so they have a clean slate with the next position.

Keep those pets safe during spring.

Struggling with socialising your puppy due to their vaccination status? Well this could be the answer. A puppy backpack, specifically designed for this purpose, is a way to take your puppy out and about whilst they stay out of contact with other dogs. This helps with socialising to smells, noises and general goings on so when they can go out on a lead it's much less of a shock to the senses. There's also bike trailers for bigger dogs that can be converted to have a handle so they can go out and about to. Pictured in the backpack is Alice's dog Bryn. He's the 3rd dog to use that backpack and it's even been used for an older jack russell who suffered with arthritis.

A short video on sits and sit to stand. Great to reinforce the basics or train from new. The sit to stand is a great way to get dogs stretching once they're warmed up. 😊

Please be reassured there is NO evidence that pet's can get coronavirus. If your cats go out please still let them do so, we don't want to see stress related illness in your cats due to house arrest. The BVA was misquoted by the BBC hence the backlash on letting cats out. Be safe 😊

Snuffle mat tester 😁

User

Make your own snuffle mat! Snuffle mats are a great tool to give your dog/s some enrichment. This one was made from old socks cut into strips. 🐢 firstly find or make the mat. I cut strips into a piece of old rubber mat. Making sure not to go all the way to the ends so the socks/fabric stays on. 🐢 keep the strips thick so they don't snap. 🐢 simply loop or tie the strips of fabric/socks so there are tassels at the top.... 🐢 don't leave gaps! You don't want bits falling through. 🐢 sprinkle their meal (dry food only) or treats on and let them go.
Don't leave puppers unattended, we don't want any socks stuck in bellies!! Video to follow.

Please keep an eye out for Jones.
Our beautiful cat is MISSING! S7 nether edge. Name is Jones, he is neutered and chipped, not seen since 6.30pm Monday 30th March. Please can everyone check garages, sheds, gardens etc and keep your eyes open for him. He is wearing a brown and pink collar which has a bell and tag on it.
We normally lock him in at night and he has never not come home before. We are very worried and wondering if he’s wandered further because the streets are quie...ter and got lost.
Please call 0114 255 4663 if you have any info.

Hello lovelies! Here's one of our RVN's, Alice, giving you a simple trick to teach your dog whilst in lockdown. These are for fun and can be done with the kids, if they're patient, but it's all about getting some more stimulation into your dog's days. Let us know what you think, apologies for the editing! Hopefully she'll have chance to do some more, if there's anything you'd like to see, let us know in the comments. 🐢
