Highfields Country Holiday Fishing Retreat

Probably our best holiday in a long time. Relaxing. Great fishing. Comfy accommodation.

Just back from a fantastic 2 weeks holiday.
This place is lovely , Staff are so friendly and very helpful .
Stayed in one of the Caravans which was lovely and Clean .
Hope to be back next year .
The whole retreat is so well maintained.

I find it is very quite and peaceful and when the sun comes out we get it all round the decking what more could you ask for beautiful

It's brilliant. Friendly, great fishing, superb walks for the dog, never busy. A great way of life.

Relax, relax, relax. Just need a caravan, or better still, a lodge of our own there now...

We have just spent a week here in the rental lakeside caravan and can't wait to go back in April. The site is so peaceful and the caravans are modern & spacious. The grounds and nearby woodlands are ideal for walkers and the fishing in the four ponds is a delight. The staff take a pride in what they have achieved and long may it last.

Have just spent a wonderfully relaxing few days in Woodside Lodge with my parents & two dogs . We all loved the peace & quiet , its so unspoilt with so much wild-life all around . All the staff are lovely and helpful , nothing is too much trouble , thankyou . Cannot wait to come back !

Highfields is a great place to kick back and relax in a very quiet setting. The most noise you will hear is the ducks trying to get fed some bread, but they're not too pushy. Many owners/visitors fish in the lakes and although I am no fisher, watching others fish is relaxing in itself. The site is maintained to a high standard and the team at Highfields are very helpful. I would recommend this site to anyone who likes peace and quiet.
