Very understanding and sympathetic. Took over the care of one of my pets, after being hugely let down by another practice, and they instantly took the time to listen to and answer fully all of my questions. I wish I'd found them sooner. Extremely professional and friendly.

If you have money on the day they are great. if you're poor or they have to wait a day or so for payment (even a few hours) they want to refuse treatment of sick pets. I went to pick up medication for my dog today and was asked to return with money, only when I asked the names of the people dealing with me (and promise prompt payment) did they let me leave with the medication. Almost feel they were accusing me of looking like a thief. Prompt payment is more important than your pets health

The care and attention our animals have always received is second to none

With 2 dogs and 3 cats to be looked after over the last 30 years we are at the vets quite often and have always had very good service. The recent introduction of the pet club keeps the costs down. Would recommend Highgate Vets to anyone.

We have (unfortunately I suppose!) used Highgate Vets very regularly for the last 6 months...one of our Shelties had horrendous injuries after being run over, and the dedicated staff at Highgate nursed her through the night before immediately referring us to a specialist surgeon on a Saturday morning. If it hadn't been for Catriona and Liz's skill and care through that night, as well as nurse Helen, she wouldn't have made it, I have no doubts about that. Since then we have been visiting regularly to help her in her recovery, and with the help of Marcelle using Electro-acupuncture and physiotherapy to stimulate her nerves and muscles, as well as being referred to a special underwater treadmill, our little girl is well on the way to being fully recovered. I cannot recommend them enough, all of the staff truly care about what is best for your pet, not just their profits, which isn't all that easy to find these days. Thank you to everyone at Highgate for the care and help over the last 6 months :)
