We've had a static caravan here since June last year and are thoroughly enjoying it. Very friendly site for dogs, with lovely walks, and the veiws are wonderful, Martins bar and restaurant serves good food, and there is a lovely swimming pool.

The best holiday park i have ever been to. Fantastic setting. If you want slot machines and noisy fairs this is NOT for you, but if you enjoy superb sunsets of the sea and stunning scenery with lovely walks, then it couldnt be better

Very welcoming reception. Good facilities for when it's torrential rain and gale force winds, as it was for our short break. Nice swimming pool. Nice gym but could do with instructions for use on All the equipment. Very good bar for excellent drinks choice, I've never seen better this side of any pub. Really good food, keep hold of that chef and give 'em a pay rise. Very tidy site considering the weather. On the downside, the toilets seemed to have a problem with loud noise coming from the pipes. Probably sorted though now and hardly worth a mention. I recommend this site to anyone. Oh, and anyone into their running would love it here. Even the dog walking field is worth a look.

Positives:Clean facilities, lovely restaurant and reasonable prices, pool /sauna and steam room very nice.Views and walks fantastic.

Negatives; The site is on the coast, so we were expecting it to be breezy at times, but where the red camping field is located is not suitable for tents, especially fiber poles. Our group had three tents to start and in the end only my steel poled tent survived the constant battering of the wind.If caravans were sited where our tents were i think they would have been blown over.
We heard that April 27 tents were damaged in the wind and 2 days before we arrived several tents were destroyed.

So keep this in mind when booking a tent pitch. There is one small area which is sheltered.

If the tent pitches were protected from the wind i would rate the site 5 stars

In my experience this is a lovely well-kept place. It is in a beautiful area not far from the beach and the main town centre. The shower blocks on site offer big showers, clean toilets and sinks with dish racks. These are kept clean and have music playing 24/7 which is a lovely feature.
In my opinion, it could really use some nightly entertainment in the pub/restaurant on site (an example of this is an act singing) or in a separate building. They should also offer an 'entertainment pass' to things such as the swimming pool and tennis courts. The pub/restaurant on site is also fairly expensive, but if you look around you can find quite a few nice pubs near by.
