We’ve just returned from ten days at the site and I cannot recommend enough! Absolutely fantastic, the site is spotless, the staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you. Amazing location the views are out of this world, lovely walking areas for dogs and a short walk down to the beach. Great little park, my kids loved the site! Lovely warm pool which we felt was worth paying for as it didn’t get too busy and again was spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely. Cannot wait to return again soon
We visited Highlands End Holiday Park in a rented motorhome in July 2018. The park is very conveniently located close to Bridport and the beautiful Jurassic coast. The park is very well kept: so clean and tidy. The restaurant and bar are also great with a wide range of reasonably priced food and beverage. The pitch we chose had fantastic views to the coast. All in all, excellent. Thanks to all the staff for making us very welcome.
We stayed on a full serviced pitch with our caravan and plenty of room around us. Staff patrol regularly to check every one is ok , disappointed that the swimming pool is not free , but beautiful location and views
I will come again
This was a great getaway for us for the Easter weekend. The weather wasn't the best and we had a few power cuts. However the views were lovely and the staff were really friendly. Super clean facilities with hot water. The pub/restaurant let dogs in and we enjoyed an evening meal and a fab breaky on another day. We also used the leisure facilities and we plan on returning 2 this site again. So thank you all who made our break so enjoyable. X
Thank you Highlands End for a fantastic 10 nights camping. We have had the best holiday Stunning views and easy access to sea front or West Bay. Staff are so friendly and nothing too much trouble. We will definitely be coming back next year. 😎😎
Such a beautiful site, facilities excellent, very peaceful even when full. Staff helpful and kind. One of our most stunning destinations and not too far from our home further along in Dorset. Our second stay here but will be back for many more hopefully....👍🏾😎☀️💕
Seriously good site. Staff great at customer service - accommodated our camper van set up! Excellent facilities: clean, well maintained. Pool, sauna, shop could have a bit more food, but other than that it's all brilliant. Restaurant will do takeaway. Kids play areas perfect, wooden and plenty of it to suit most ages. 10 minute coastal walk to West Bay or Eype Beach, easy cycle into Bridport.
One of the best campsites I have attended on the South Coast. Staff friendly and attentive , amenities to a high standard, large pitches, amazing views, a must for any camper.
Lovely campsite overlooking the sea at this holiday park. We were out of peak season so it was quiet. The staff were super friendly. Our dog was allowed in the main Bar/restaurant with us so it was great to have a meal there. The bar /restaurant is very nice, food was good too. Good little shop (option to pay to use the leisure facilities including a pool) we will be going back!
Just literally got back from yet another glorious week at Highlands End. We love this place and so do our 2x German Shepherds. Having been at different times of year we have decided that September is probably the best time for us though. The volume of families with children on the weekend is understandable but the only downside for me as a responsible dog owner was the amount of dogs off lead on site. This certainly won't stop us returning, only later on in the season.
Just completed a three day stay, and ever everything is perfect. I have visited on Ann off for the last thirty years and the Park never ceases to please.
On my very first visit many years ago, I ordered a curry in the restaurant, it was awful!! And now thirty years later they are still serving a beef stew with rice and calling it Madras curry!
Fantastic site and. I am planning my next visit already.
I’ve been coming to Highlands end since I was in my mums tummy. 20 years on and I still love it here! They have recently renovated the restaurant and bar on site and have added additional things for children to keep them busy. Lovely place to make happy memories with family. Currently having a dad and daughter weekend and cannot fault highlands end. Brilliant site, views and plenty to do!
Love you Highlands End, thank you for giving me some of my most cherished memories ❤️
It’s our 3rd holiday to this great campsite. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and approachable. The sites facilities are always clean and tidy with showers and toilets free I’ve never had to queue or wait. Very dog friendly and loads of places to visit around and about Dorset! It won’t be our last holiday here for sure.
Great site. Great views and facilities. Quite small and neat which means it doesn't feel crowded. Staff have all been extremely helpful and friendly. Alfie one of the maintenance guys even help me fix my mother In laws van to get her going with no hesitation. We have already booked our return trip for the end of the month.
Great place! Amazing views and coastal paths:) just a short walk into west bay which is a lovely seaside town one thing to say is be prepared for a bit of wind as it can very windy at times if weather is rough x
Stayed in our 4 berth caravan on a gravel pitch, the last May bank holiday weekend, plenty of room, stunning views, friendly, helpful staff, lovely park, would have given a 5*, but for 2 things, 1. there just aren’t enough showers or toilets for the amount of pitches, queues every morning with the floors very quickly becoming wet & dirty, my husband’s shower and all other men’s showers at that time, was cold (before the power cut) and 2. Although the bar/restaurant is handy, modern and clean and as a bonus, allows dogs, unfortunately I would rate the food as only 2*-3* so if we were to return we would eat elsewhere, apart from these 2 points overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Just back from a 3 day stay, and we had a lovely time despite the weather! We stayed in premier Pods, which were very comfortable, although I would suggest the sofa bed is not suitable for adults as too small. You need to be aware no water/toilets in PODS though. The showers/toilets in main site were clean and water hot. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was good, although dogs are allowed in restaurant which would be ok if well behaved and not constantly barking! Would recommend site to friends as it’s a beautiful spot along the Jurassic coast , with walks and West Bay 2 miles away, for trip out.
Great Park - lovely views - not much to do.
Facilities for tourers were good and clean, showers were nice and hot! The food in Martins was decent - best nachos I’ve ever had! Just two points - cleaners closing the shower blocks mid-morning was not ideal and having to pay for the swimming pool - would rather stay somewhere this was included in price with kids. Would recommend :-)
Not happy about the fact during the Bank holiday weekend, there was no hot water in the men's shower block or washing up area for the 5 days we were there.
They were aware but were told to use the other block - queues obviously and very dirty with so many people. We complained to reception who didn't seem bothered. After paying full price we expected to receive full facilities and didn't.
