Unable to get a table at the Royal Oak beefeater, so tried Hilden Manor. Staff and service was great. We had two twin granddaughters who needed high chairs, so an appropriate table was offered and the staff treated them just as well as us. Will be returning again soon.

User

My first visit to Hilden Manor yesterday for breakfast with my daughter, grandaughter, & great-grandaughter. And i wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent & plenty of it. The staff were very helpfull & polite. The restaurant was spotless as was the toilets. Will definately be going back.

My first visit !! .. staff, service and food were great.

User

Food excellent no complaints at all. Large family party including a 2 year old and Staff absolutely delightful even though they were extremely busy. As a family we will always choose this venue.....well done to all staff 👍

User

Excellent waitress service, great food

User

As we travel around a lot I've eaten in quite a few Beefeaters I must say this is the best I've ever been to and I must say the food was excellent and as for the staff they were extremely helpful and friendly. Will be visiting again very soon.

Went on Friday night to celebrate my sons 40th. Had the best waiter ever !! Food was quick and hot and cleared promptly. We had two five year olds and food and colouring excellent.

Only one small problem we had driven over in the afternoon with a helium balloon to be placed on reserved table and it wasnt there......shame spoiled things a bit for my husband who had planned it.

User

Service has greatley improved, it used to take ages to get food but it was much better this time.

Good sized portions, tasty food & good atmosphere.

User

Nice staff as normal , but please could the kitchen staff chef or cooks cook the green beans just a bit longer ... love veg not over cooked but not just blanched , other wise what we had was lovely

User

It was a last minute thing to go there but we got a table 30 mins after phoning.

The waitress had alot of tables so when we asked for anything it took too long before it come to us (like water x5 )

But food was nice and all turned up together so no complaints there.

Will be back sometime

Hi was staying at the Premier inn so for convenience I booked a table. The food was good and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I am not a meat eater and yes this is a steak house but I did find some non red / white meat dishes and they were very good. I would certainly recommend dining here.

User

had a Sunday roast which took ages to arrive, some 45min wait. when it arrived no a great choice of vegetables. The lamb and potatoes were very nice though, could of been a tad warmer. Pudding was ok, a bit tight with their portions of custard!! The standard of beefeaters food have dropped, small potions but expensive. would I go back, yes but not that often

User

Went there as a change to our normal Beefeater, staff were pleasant and polite.food was ok, tiny crispy chicken wings though and I asked for my steak to be med rare ,half was cooked ok, the other half of it was very rare. When I said something about it, they agreed not to charge me for it, disappointed as it was also my sons Birthday, but not the front of restaurant staff

User

Was average bit pricey. Messed up order .menu not as good as few years ago had surf and turf steak ok king prawns tiny .banoffee pie disappointing not as good as last visit 2015 .miss breaded garlic mushrooms not the same starters .coke flat too .waiters polite and work hard to please .would return if offers available but not full price .

User

Lady at the entrance was unfriendly , I wanted to say smile. Had to request the early menu which is a lot cheaper. They served a cocktail in a large squash glass. Had run out of requested lager. Waitress was polite at all times but long wait for the food to arrive. The children's drink which came with the meal was warm watery squash and they had run out of straws. The steaks saved the day. Cooked and tasted perfect. Would not go for an evening meal here again . But i use the early morning breakfast with the girls here regularly and find the staff in the morning really brilliant and always smiling.

User

Food was below par and menu was a bit limited. Had Minted Lamb at £15 but it was well over cooked despite asking for Medium Rare and tough as old boots. Didn't get enough veg or potatoes with it so was far from impressed.

User

Didn’t think much of the steak to be honest... I ordered a sirloin and was more like a rump and chewy and not a,lot of taste to it either.... don’t think I would choose to eat there again, especially for the price which was expensive for what you receive.

User

My first visit to the 'child friendly' beefeater to try the new Mr Men children's menu. .. Midday, midweek...unfortunately we were asked to keep our 3 under 3s quiet!!!! Really! If anyone working at beefeater would like to take on that challenge feel free. Certainly didn't feel welcome especially as the kids were happily playing with the wax crayons and paper provided....told my mum friends not to bother try Havet instead. ....

User

Originally wanted a roast but they blood ran out......we then ordered from the menu I ordered a chargrilled chicken n ribs with chips coleslaw n corn cob.....this meal was slapped on plate with hardly any chips but end scraggings of chips with a corn on cob that looked blue and a slab of coleslaw ..... we showed it to manager who offered to take off bill which had a cheek to cost £14.99. however once take off my partners meal consisted of fish n chips .... starters for both which was prawn cocktail and 2 halves of drink which was for bloody £29 quid .... what a joke ... don’t go here !!!!
