Hill Farm Camping & Caravan Park

Very disappointed the website looks great but it's not like it's description,there is nothing for children to do despite saying there's a games room,the cafe is very over priced for the quality of food,they also advertised that they have treatment rooms but when I went to entire I was told they have no qualified staff and I think this is misleading we booked for 7 days and left after 3 nights due to lack of facilities

We use this site alot through out the year owener is nice site is tidy .and it currently has a shower toilit block under construction opening very soon .it is very quiet and close to Donnington park and the city center but in the countryside

It's is amazing and there is going to be a toilet block on it soon and it's a great experience for me and I love it

Really basic. We were cycle camping and they failed to tell us that there are no facilities at all. In the end they allowed us to use a dirty old shower and loo with no hot water. Cold showers are not pleasant,. It was cheap but even so I can't believe a campsite can't even offer a basic toilet block.

I have stayed on this camping and caravanning site loads of times and it is great. It has an excellent location - near to the town and shops and yet in the countryside. There is so much to do in the area, yet it is peaceful and quiet. We spent our last stay visiting Calke Abbey, Conkers and the ski slope whilst my mum and dad stayed on the site watching lambs being born in the next field. The pitches are large and you are not crowded together or restricted to coming in just one car. When we first arrived we were shown around the site by the friendly owner. The facilities are basic but we found them quite o.k. when we needed them. We were able to pitch where we wanted to which pleased us as we like to have a choice of where we camp.
Next time we stay we will be taking our bikes and going on the SUSTRANS cycle path which is close by - hopefully it will be sunny weather then!!
