How are your baking skills..? We have a cake baking competition at our Summer Fete this Sunday! Test your skills, entry details here:
Beer Bake 1. Sweet – cake, brownie etc as long as it is a sweet bake that contains beer. 2. Bread –Any bread that contains beer.
... Victoria Sponge: The only essential rule is that the cake is to be made using 3 eggs, it can be made in any size tin and must have a jam filling.
Celebration Cake: All you need to do is decorate a cake in whatever style, theme, or colour you like. It can be of any size and shape – its only judged on the decoration!

Kick Christmas off here at the Brewery - The Hop Barn will be decked out for Christmas, let the festivities begin with mulled cider and wine galore and a free mince pie on arrival for all!

We are keeping it simple this month, a great range of beers on draught & fully stocked bar, great locally sourced & home cooked food, good conversation and good people.

We have just held an awesome weekend event at Hillside, and we could not of asked for more, they were very helpful very accomadating will hire this venue again for sure x

Thank you to Paul and his team for a fab night at Hillside Brewery. We went there for our summer party as a group of 25 from Betaris Training to celebrate our 7th year of business. The hospitality was great, lovely scenery, great drinks and smiley helpful staff. Paul did a 'pub quiz' for us prior to the Open Mic night which was a good laugh. Thank you very much, highly recommended and I will definitely be returning!

Really enjoyed our little tour of Hillside Brewery today. Tasted some lovely beers and enjoyed listening to Paul’s extensive knowledge about beer. His passion and enjoyment for brewing beer and making it a special experience for everyone made our day. Thank you! I would recommend this experience to all. Beautiful location too. Amanda & Peter

Really enjoyed our Brewery tour with Paul Williamson. It was great to try the beers and to learn about the processes of brewing. Paul was very informative and engaging throughout the whole time of the tour. A really impressive set up and well worth a visit. Thank you David and Tim

I first visited Hillside Brewery for a full brewing experience day which I got for my birthday. I spent the day learning how to brew beer in a really hands on and relaxed atmosphere. The day started with bacon butties and continued with plenty of beers and then more food! Since finding out about them I have been to several events including their beer festival and food & beer pairing evening. They have a great team who are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend visiting.

Hillside Brewery is perfect for a group day out. John and Henry are brilliant hosts. John is the proud owner of a 2:1 degree and an MSC, and Henry has a first class degree from Bournemouth university.

Had such an amazing stag weekend the zorb football was class and the brewery tour just topped it off! The beers are some of the best I've tasted! All the staff were so friendly! Can't wait to come back

Had a great day on the brewing experience - crew were friendly, learnt a lot and beer excellent as usual!
