Wonderful place to return to, the middle of nowhere so you can leave your troubles behind. Over the past couple of years I have stopped on the caravan site and in the cottage. The two bedroomed cottage is beautifully set out with ensuite bath/shower rooms. There is also a sofa bed so you can sleep up to six people comfortably.
The place itself is family run by Chris, Pat, Mark and Kathleen who make you feel at home. Also on site is a shop, tv/coffee lounge, washing facilities.
Places of interest nearby are the Arbatorium, James Herriot museum, Thirsk, Northallerton to name a few. So if you want to visit gods own county of Yorkshire I couldn't advise you of a better place to start.

The site is extremely well maintained by a friendly helpful family; so relaxing with superb views and easy access to this beautiful area's great towns and villages.

Good size pitches,immaculate toilet block and plenty of open space for kids,walking dog etc.
Deff' be going back again.

This site is so tranquil and friendly. Visited family who were staying at the site. Caravans are spread spaciously a part from each other which is great if you have noisy children like we do! There is a play park for the children. Definitely would recommend this site.

just returned home after spending 2 nights in clamping pod no 1 had lovely time pod superbly fitted out, nice to have ones own toilet and shower room. Can highly recommend the pod and the site, amenities are lovely and clean and was well looked after by Mark thank you for a lovely relaxing break. Jan and Dave Leech
