Happy Easter Everyone. Just getting ready for our Easter festivities on Sunday Morning.
Easter egg hunt - Help us find our lost Easter eggs. The Easter egg hunt will take place at 10am. The starting point will be at reception.
... Decorate the egg - Decorate or dress your egg in any way you like. Judging will take place on Sunday at 10.30am in the coffee lounge. Please bring your decorated eggs up over the weekend to display.
£1 entry per competition with all proceeds going to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Any donations of prizes would be greatly appreciated.

What an amazing experience. We found a perfect place to relax, away from the hustle & bustle of the city. The mega pod is just right for us three & is immaculately maintained. Will definitely come back & recommend this to our friends 👍🏻

What a brilliant break away we had at this little gem of a campsite! We stayed in one of the mega pods, which were absolutely fantastic! The kids felt like we were camping, whilst Also enjoying the home comforts of shower, toilet, comfy beds and kitchen area.

The pods were immaculate and the site it lovely. The kids loved the park...would definitely highly recommend.

We have just spent 2 nights at this site and it's 5star, lots of free space for the children to play and the facilities were fantastic. Found this site very relaxing and very friendly :)

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely park. I found it very easy to relax in the gorgeous surroundings and enjoy the great views. The facilities are excellent, all very clean and looked after, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The pitch is a good size so we didn't feel too close to our neighbours. I would defiantly recommend this park and will be returning for a longer stay in the future.

We had a lovely weekend at this site in our tourer caravan. Such large, fully serviced pitches, pretty countryside, plenty of wildlife for the kids to spot and a great play area which was easily visible from the caravan so they could have a bit of independence. The shower block was clean and warm and the site was well lit at night. Weather stayed nice too - just perfect!

This is a fantastic quite caravan park that is clean and well maintained throughout its the ideal place to go for family's with a good park the pitches are large its that good we have booked our van on for the rest of the year and hope to be able to get a seasonal pitch for next year

Stayed in one of the camping pods and was fantastic! We’ve never stayed in a pod before but it was fabulous, very cosy and had everything you needed with your own shower and kitchen facilities. More amenities were available on site. Highly recommend �

Just returned after a two night stay at Hillside in our touring caravan.So easy to find and great being just off the A19. Northallerton and Thirsk both really close! This seems to be a very well run park and really beautiful views. Pitches were massive which is great. Close to home for us but felt like we were in the middle of nowhere! We had two children aged 8 and 4 and they loved the space to explore. Great for bikes and scooters! We will be back in the summer!!

Just home from spending two nights there.Highly recommend Hillside.Great that it's open in February as we struggle to find anywhere within an hour from home(Leeds)Lovely staff,friendly and helpful.The size of the pitches are fantastic.Makes such a lovely change not to be squashed in!!!Toilet/showers Spotless.The location is another good point.My daughter loved the cafe/lounge area,what a great idea and it's so lovely and warm!Just one small issue..Having just one key for the toilets/shower area can be a bit awkward when there are three of you.We will be telling our fellow caravaners about this little gem of a site and def be back ourselves

I'm not one for a tent -so this suits me well! We had a lovely time! I have a two year old boy who loves the outdoors ! He played on his bike and the on site park ! We're right in the heart of nature with all the modern amenities! So private and location is fantastic for local parks and so on ..will definitely be back! Xxxx

I think this might be my favourite site. It's so peaceful and relaxing with excellent, spacious pitches and first class facilities. The stream running through the site keeps the kids busy and there are lovely dog walks across the fields adjacent to the site. For wildlife watchers, there's lots to see including a visit to our pitch by a huge hare! Its easy driving distance to Thirsk and the excellent 'Bliss' coffees shop and you can bike right from the site on quiet country lanes with lovely views. Excellent all round.

Hillside is the most relaxing caravan park you can visit within North Yorkshire. Their is so much to do within the surrounding area and you have Thirsk on the doorstep as well as Northallerton 20 mins away so much beautiful countryside to explore. Pat, Chris & Mark are really happy friendly people who give a great Yorkshire welcome to everyone. Their is always more and more fantastic improvements to this site year on year and all for the best of those who love Hillside.

Had a great time staff very friendly and helpful would recommend the dog and gun public house for a meal but you need to book 1.5 miles away down the road. We stayed last weekend and just so peaceful with the stream running through and the lovely lake, defiantly will be going back.

Great site, just so much space, has a holiday cottage on site so our extended family can holiday with us , the big pitches are simply superb, massive play area, located near to Thirsk and Northallerton and a 30 minute drive to all that York offers, plenty for the kids to do, locally is the York maize maze and the web with indoor and outdoor play areas great for kids up to about 11 rs old.



This was our second visit to hillside and will probably go back next year

Great site, friendly people, very accommodating. The park was very clean with up to date facilities. The pods were amazing very clean and comfy . We will deffo be staying again x

First time we've stayed here and we had a great time ! The Kids loved it and we had a very relaxing weekend wish we were still there
