Lovely big pair of Iroko gates fitted yesterday using the large hinges we made last week. Hung on third party fitted oak posts and underground automation. We also fitted a lockable letter box

It’s not just our gates that are unique.
Big bespoke gates need big bespoke hinges.
These hinges have been fabricated to hang and complement a 15’ pair of automated iroko gates

This weeks work included this lovely pair of Iroko gates, painted white and hung on existing steel channels and automated with previously installed (out of level) hydraulic rams

A lovely painted bespoke pair of Iroko clad steel framed gates hung on steel posts at an angle across a drive way to give maximum width and access.

Very unique pair, made to customers spec.
Small gate opens inwards and sits up tight to the wall missing the down pipe, but still wide enough to get a wheelie bin in and out.
Larger gate opens outwards giving the drive way maximum width, its also fitted with a specially fabricated drop bolt to keep the gate open without trip hazards.
... Carved stiles and tapered top rails give character.
Oversized gap underneath to give local ducks access to a large pond.
Colour matched paint to existing wood work.
Keylock for added security.

Made to replicate the original which was very old and rotten but loved by the customer. New 8x8 oak posts, hardwood gate and new fencing.

What an imposing pair, over 8ft tall, 12ft wide with a 2ft rise. Herringbone pattern cladding and a wicket door made from iroko and hung on 8”x8” oak posts

Nice steel framed wooden clad gate fitted today. Made to customers spec. solid infill and lock for security, curved top with bars to give extra height but still enable them to see who’s there , a small gap underneath, special hinges to clear the upward slope in their garden and lastly the cladding colour matched to tie in with their existing woodwork
