What a clever bunch the Norfolk Young Professionals Group were. Taking on all three of our Norwich escape games, a 100% success rate is very rare indeed! Fantastic teamwork especially as some of the teams had never met until tonight, wow! We can't wait to see you all back for another event soon.

User

'Public Health Panthers' aced it in our ARCHIVED ALIVE escape game at the Guildhall! They solved all of the puzzles, beat the clock with more than a minute left, and won their prizes!

User

They headed in from that there Swaffham for seasonal festivities and had much fun trying to escape the past, but unfortunately 'Parson's Project' ran over time so there was no escaping the vaults for them!⌛🗝️

User

Team 'Mok' brilliantly solved all of our puzzles in the BODY OF EVIDENCE escape game at the Guildhall, beating the clock and solving our mystery with more than 3 minutes left to spare!

User

Despite being short a teammate or two 'Nicoletta and Kellie?' didn't seem to notice as they flew through the puzzles and saved our hapless historian with almost three minutes left on the clock.🥇⏳

User

A big team afternoon out and a 100% success rate to celebrate, what a team! Both games were incredibly close - 'Team Won' won with 3:13 left on the clock, 'Six Men & A Lady' won too with 3:45 left! You know what this means - rematch!!

User

We hope these 'Leopards' don't change their spots because they were such a fun team! Laughing all the way to the last puzzle, they were seconds away from solving our Victorian murder mystery in BODY OF EVIDENCE. We can't wait to see them back - whose birthday is it next?!

User

New team 'Goldwire' didn't quite make it out of THE MERCHANTS' VAULTS But despite sad faces in the end, still had a great run and worked fantastically together!

User

First time team 'Brilliant Burnhams' rocked the MERCHANTS' VAULTS today in a time of 54:14
Still smiling and laughing all the way through!

This lovely lively livery yard team kicked off the Christmas festivities across our three Norwich games. While they couldn’t cross the finishing line before time ticked away, each team remained stable in their puzzle-solving quests. We hope they enjoyed the rest of their celebrations at Cosmo!

User

It’s always a pleasure to see returning teams and after having beaten BODY OF EVIDENCE last year ‘Ray’s Crew’ were back to free the trapped City Historian in ARCHIVED ALIVE with an impressive 8 minutes and 7 seconds to spare! Well played team! Hopefully we’ll see you back for your platinum badges soon! ⏳🗝

User

'Zak's Dream Team' ventured into the Guildhall to clear their names in BODY OF EVIDENCE. With 08:39 remaining on the clock they walk away with their silver badges. Hope this team return soon to earn their gold badges!

User

This team made a valiant attempt in their first escape game, getting stuck into BODY OF EVIDENCE! Unfortunately time got the better of them but we hope theuvreturn soon to earn their silver badges...

User

Making a valiant attempt in BODY OF EVIDENCE to clear their names, this team found time slipping away and unfortunately the true culprit remains free. Hopefully they will return soon for more escape game shenanigans!

User

The 'Pirates of the Carrot Vean' sailed to victory in BODY OF EVIDENCE with 00:39 left on the clock! This team return to the waters with their silver badges on board!

User

The ‘Pony Slaves’ were great competitors and pushed each other until the very end, but they still ended up in the clink. Hopefully they will put their strong puzzling skills to use in the future.

User

Off to debtors’ prison for ‘The Weekenders’. They were just a couple of puzzles short of achieving their objective. Better luck next time!

READ ALL ABOUT IT - a new History Mystery escape game is coming! Soon you'll be able to take a trip into Norwich's subterranean history in a hidden street deep beneath Castle Meadow. We're hugely excited to announce we've teamed up with KindaKafe and Shop, Norwich to bring you another exciting escape to the past! More coming soon......!

User

What a great game. Ben was an amazing host, can’t wait to come back and play the other games, absolutely recommend for an interesting and exciting game of suspense and history!

User

We came here on a ‘team day’ and it was the best day! I had no idea what to expect, we did ‘archived alive’ , more difficult than I imagined but so much fun, so many laughs, our host gave lots of useful clues and we managed to free to poor locked in man with 3 minutes to spare I got my much wanted badge. We will be back to go down in the cells !!

User

This was so much fun, even though we didn't escape! (we were so close...) I would definitely recommend this to small groups, we also learnt some local history and it's great that it was based on a true event - very chilling.

User

Poor historian, he did not get out! However we had such a great time trying to help that to us it did not matter. Many thanks to our hostess who made us truly welcome, gave masses of helpful hints, and reassured us we are not as thick as we felt when we failed to get our poor historian out. Wonderful experience, gave us lots to talk about and increased our local knowledge to boot. A big thank you to all who contributed to the making of the game.

User

Played the archive game for my birthday as well as a game a few weeks before. It was awesome, really fun especially if you love puzzles. I couldn't recommend it enough.

User

Our first ever escape room today, we played the Queen maker and loved every minute of it, even though we didnt quite complete it. Highly recommend this, being set in a real Church makes it feel almost real

User

One of the quickest hours of my life, but one of the most enjoyable spent with family and friends. Cant wait to try one of the other challenges.

User

My sister found the escape room on the Blickling Estate in the estate’s church (of all places!). Fantastically well organised and educational. Our host fully embraced her character and made our time exploring the church really come to life. Highly recommend, thoroughly enjoyed by all.

User

My friends and I had a fantastic time this Sunday doing The Queenmaker escape game at Blickling Church. We'd already done Archived Alive and 2 of us had played Body of Evidence. We love all of your games but The Queenmaker was our favourite so far. The interaction with the games master added to the brilliant atmosphere and we particularly loved how the architecture of the church was included in the game as well as the history element. We can't get enough of History Mystery and will be back as soon as we can to complete the game in the Bridewell museum and hopefully get our platinum winners badges! The games are so well put together and the staff are so enthusiastic. All around a really excellent experience, every time.

User

My first escape room and it was fantastic, me and my friend did the murder mystery one which was harder than I expected but the lady’s were wonderful, very welcoming and much needed giving us hints throughout the intricate and fascinating game. Thank you lady’s we will be back to finish what we started #clueingforlooks

User

I went with a group of 11 to do the two separate rooms and it was great fun! The staff were really friendly so thank you and we will return next year

User

Had a great time today at Blickling church escape room.

Would totally recommend this for a family or group, great pub and cafe at Blickling hall too.

User

Four of us didnt know what to expect, being our first time, but we all thoroughly enjoyed it and cant wait to do another one.We got 3/4 of the way through at Bridewell when time was up, but know what to expect now!

User

First time doing an escape room. Really enjoyed ourselves and the experience was really well put together by a very friendly and professional team. Would definitely come back again if in the area!

User

Came back with my family and finally won a game!! Can't recommend the puzzles enough and the staff are brilliant!

User

Brilliant! Six of us did this (Body of Evidence) for my hen do on Saturday and we all had a fantastic time. Our host was professional, knowledgeable and fun, and made us all feel welcome. Would definitely recommend to anyone even if you don't think it's your thing - one of my hens thought it was going to be naff and stupid but she really got into it and was quite competitive! Felt quite similar to a Crystal Maze experience except Richard O'Brien wasn't playing the harmonica outside the door, lol!

User

Booked the Merchant's Vault as a surprise for my partner's birthday, and we had an absolute blast! Brilliant game to play, and loved all the history incorporated into it

User

Best escape room yet!!

only two of us played but that was enough

it was busy in there and so much to do, thoroughly enjoyable and exciting, completely different to other escape rooms we have tried before. Also the staff are amazing and they really cared about our experience.

User

As a family we have completed a few escape rooms and found these to be one of the best.

It was nice to have the local theme and pitched at just the right level of difficulty.

Strongly recommend a great way to spend an hour with lots to talk about afterwards.

Will try another room soon
