Stunning hotel. Beautiful accommodation. Breakfast was top notch. All spoiled by the persistent noise from a nearby air con system that prevented me sleeping all night. Staff couldn't move me, as the place was full. Otherwise very impressed, but a bit of a kick in groin when you read in your room that "peace and serenity are the order of the day".

One of the waitresses had a face like a wet fish. Sometimes you have to take small people called children to afternoon tea, worth having a kids menu or at least figure the prices for one sandwich. £7.50 she tried to charge us at first for my 1 year old daughter! Oh, when you book the table one month advanced, don't change the menu when your customers get there... Then don't have 6 menus of that first original menu on the table and then only get 2 menus of the new menu for 5 people to read. Lastly, make sure the sandwiches are fresh. Soggy cranberry sandwiches arent the best.

Really enjoying spa day. The facilities are excellent and the staff are very friendly. They don't provide flip flops so you can either buy from shop or take your own. Only given 4* as the salt pool was a bit cold for me and some of the other massage pools were quite cold too other than that it is well worth a visit.

A lot of hotels advertise themselves as a 'spa' hotel because they have a pool and a Jacuzzi... Well, this place is a true spa hotel. Their facilities will amaze you. Their hydrotherapy is amazing, the treatments are sublime, the food is absolutely gorgeous. Yes it's expensive but boy is it worth it!!! LOVE IT. Literally my only critism is that the bedrooms are a little dated, but they are clean and warm and entirely suitable!

Me and my mum stayed over night and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish- we had the royal suite and definitely felt like royalty! It had a private sauna and hot tub within the room!
the food was incredible and the staff were so polite and nothing was to much to ask.
Our therapy treatments were out of this world especially the new bamboo full body massage!
Can’t wait to come back!

We came to Hoar Cross last year and I loved it so much wanted go return this year. I couldn't fault it for a second year either. The hotel is amazing so are the facilities, grounds, countryside walks and the staff. Even on rainy days there is so much to do you can't possible get bored. We did 2 nights but quite easily could have stayed longer.
I really can't say enough good things about the whole experience and I think the only way is to try it for yourself, I am absolutely sure you won't be disappointed.
My only small critasisum was our bathroom although clean and adequate it was in need of a refurb, but the whole of the hotel bedrooms and bathrooms are being done so by next year they will be finished.
The staff at the hotel did show us a new room and it was amazing.
I have attached a small selection of photos I took I hope they do it some justice.

I use to love my spa days here, but after my last visit I will not be going g there again. The place was packed out, and you were having to wait for a slot in the Jacuzzi, the same for the loungers and chairs by the pool. We waited all day for some loungers in the chill out area and the quiet/snooze room was a no go all day. Why to people go to a spa then sleep all Day!!! !. I gave 2 stars just for the lunch, but the whole spa experience was just ruined by too many people. It got worse at 3pm, because the half day spa people rushed in. We left at then because the place was too full. I would be Interested in how many people the spa can hold from a health and safety point of view, fire regulations and all that, because in my opinion it was full to capacity and then some. Not a good experience from someone who has been going here for 17 years. Never again......

Loved it, top of the range spa and can never go back to cheapo Day spas. Beautiful grounds and lots of facilities. I do have some niggles that needn't have been and will contact them direct. Rooms are fab and the food was superb. I will definitely come back and hope they will listen to my thoughts.

Given the opportunity to stay for two nights as a Birthday treat! Ab Fab in all respects. Rooms clean and comfortable, menu varied enough and bar prices not excessive. We ate Dinner in the Ballroom and Lunch on our full Spa Day! In Huxley's very nice food in both locations. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet secluded retreat to recharge the batteries or just to relax! Would recommend anyone visiting on first occasion to take up the offer of a tour of the hotel and its many facilities!.
