Very friendly and welcoming Ladies section.So pleased I Joined made lots of new friends and enjoying my golf experience.
Quality course especially for this time of year. The green keepers were busy throughout the day and the greens were immaculate. The only criticism I would have was that the pace of the round was held up severely by slower groups not allowing us to play through.
Played twice last week it's in great nick
Played there today - greens are great, each hole is fair - bad shot is penalised but not to the extreme. Nice variation, par 3s on the back 9 are fun. First round there and shot 82, would happily play it again.... Only thing I would say is the stroke index for me seems wrong, the hardest holes were for me not that hard compared to other courses where you can easily tell the harder holes without checking the scorecard.
Most improved golf course in the north east
Hobson Seniors team entertained George Washington Seniors yesterday the 8th May. The course was in great condition. Greens were a little slow but will improve very soon as the season progresses.
Both teams really enjoyed the day and the hospitality was second to none.

Hobson Golf Club provides an excellently maintained, high quality golf experience to rival any in the region. Having played a number of local courses this year I made the decision to join Hobson simply because of the quality of course for the same cost as other local courses. Lovely greens, attractive designs, holes that provide a range of challenges, well stocked and competitively priced store and extremely helpful staff. New to golf but made a great choice of club to join
Had a great day at The Hobson Invitation on Saturdsy 10th June ' course was in great condition and such a friendly atmosphere in the 19th as usual . Great Golf Club !
Great venue was here for friends 21st bday party the over night and the staff behind the bar where absolutely brilliant
Great game this morning 1st time playing here very good course.
Great course hospitality food and drink excellent a lot of the members are really ugly especially the May brothers but apart from that all good

Became a member in January 2018 best thing I ever did ⛳️
Quite perturbed, Andrew and I both lost our golf balls on the same 'fairway' from the same tee box and very similar driving distances.
How can you lose a ball on a fairway?
Apart from that we had a great round, looking forward to another visit!
Great course for beginners or experienced golfers. Not too penal if you go offline. Nice greens and fairways friendly clubhouse and proshop .
