Hoburne Naish - Dando'S Den Description
When myself and my sister were little, we visited Naish Farm (Hoburne Naish) every year for 5 years in a row. We went exactly the same week every year, it was always Wimbledon week, we stayed in the same caravan every time.
Every year we spent down there we made some fantastic childhood memories. From spending hours in the arcade, dancing with Sammy the Seahorse, entering the children's talent competitions, spending time in the freezing cold outside pool (now heated) and whizzing around on roller skates on the CS area of the park. Memories that have lived with us ever since.
We last visited the park in 1994.
We have always been a family that are fond of our caravan holidays, and it was a dream of my parents to own their own caravan. Every year we visited the site we would leave on our last day of holiday and mum would say 'I wish we could buy a caravan down here'. Me and my sister would be in floods of tears leaving the caravan and the park and the only thing that made it easier for us was knowing we would be back in a years time.
In January 2017 my dad turned 60 and to celebrate the occasion, we decided to return to Naish Farm, my sister, her husband and her 3 children, myself my husband and my 3 children and my mum and dad all returned to the park in May 2017 as a way of celebrating my Dad's special birthday.
As we pulled up to the entrance of the site I went all goosepimply. It was so exciting to be able to show my children and nieces and nephews where me and my sister had spent our family holiday. We had a fantastic week, revisiting the campsite was fantastic and emotional at the same time. So many memories to revisit. We took the children around to our old caravan and showed them the trees we would climb, the area we would go roller booting, it was a fantastic week and again upon leaving, there were tears from me that it all had to come to an end.
In August 2017 mum and dad decided to bite the bullet and look into purchasing a caravan. There was no other site they were interested in, nothing else was to be considered, they wanted a caravan on Hoburne Naish, the question was which one. We spent several weekends travelling backwards and forwards to the site, viewing caravans, signing paperwork and finalising documents.
Saturday 9th September they picked up the keys to their very own holiday home, the caravan they dreamed of for years and years and a holiday park which holds a huge number of our family and childhood memories. It was perfect and a dream come true.
We now intend of renting out our holiday home to families and we hope that you can make and cherish as many memories as we did in our time spent on the park.

🐕 Hoburne Naish have just recently changed their park rules and have become even more dog friendly!!! 🐕
They now have designated areas inside the main complex where dogs are allowed, you need to look out for the paw prints on the floor of the main reception and inside the cafe area.
There are water bowls for them.
... They only request is that dogs are kept on the lead at all times whilst walking around the park.
We allow upto 2 well behaved dogs in our caravan during any break booked with us. Your four legged friends can come on holiday with you! ☺️🐶
I cannot wait to get down there with my Pug Hulk and take him inside the main complex, he will love being able to venture out with us more!!! 😀
