Hofesh Shechter is one of the UK’s most exciting artists, recognised as both a choreographer and composer who set up his international touring company in 2008.
Company Overview:
Winner of the Critic’s Circle National Dance Award for Best Choreography (modern) in 2008 Hofesh Shechter is one of the UK’s most exciting artists. Recognised as both a choreographer and composer Hofesh recently premiered his new work Political Mother to universal acclaim. In 2007 his work was seen by millions of viewers when he was commissioned to choreograph the opening dance sequence for E4’s hit TV series Skins. In 2008 Hofesh formed Hofesh Shechter Company who tour globally to critical and popular acclaim. Hofesh is an Associate Artist of Sadler’s Wells and Hofesh Shechter Company is Resident Company at Brighton Dome.

We watched DUETO by Hofesh Shechter in Berlin last weekend . If you are looking for an amazing show, extrodinary talented dancers, beautiful music , and emotional feeling than run and purchase tickets now �.
Utterly amazing performance tonight at HOME in Manchester. Where those levels of energy come from I will never know. Just incredible!! What a night. Fabulous ���
Unique , professional and incredibly energetic!!!!
The most stunnig live perfomance I've ever seen. So complex in movements, sound and light.

Saw Hofesh in Show at Lyric Hammersmith and next week for Grand Finale. This is the most amazing dance I have ever seen! The dancers and music are mind blowing
Saw 'Show' today at 'Lyric Hammersmith': absolutely stunning, energetic, mesmerising....
Fantastic group of young dancers, and: loved the soundtrack.
Political Mother at Kala Mandir, Kolkata. I was attending a contempary performance for the first time and it was spellbound. The background score, the lighting arrangements, the performance, the musicians everything was just impeccable. A 85 minute ordeal that will probably stay in my head forever and I hope you people continue going places and intrigue people as much as I was. I feel obliged enough in getting an opportunity to attend your show.

I had the pleasure of seeing Grand Finale in Montreal last night and it blew me away. Full of urgency and emotion. I didn’t want it to end.
Hofesh is an all-round talent , a true genius , the productions always amaze and enthrall
