We have just stayed for 2 nights with our Beagle. The room was lovely, the staff couldn’t have been nicer and the food was of excellent quality. A dog friendly hotel offering 5 star quality!

We had our wedding here on the 21st April, we were looked after from the moment we booked it 16 months ago to the moment we checked out the day after the wedding. The food was superb, the honeymoon suite was out of this world and the staff are amazing. Thanks for everything Helen, Danni, Neil and the rest of Hogarths team. Lots of Love Mr & Mrs Boyd xxx

We had our wedding here and wanted to tell everyone how wonderful it was. From the very start Helen was there, reducing our anxieties by always making herself available to answer questions. The day went seamlessly thanks to Danni, she even helped get red wine out of my wedding dress, she was a star! Danni took away all the stress and worry so that we could enjoy our day. We got married here on 17th november 2017, we had the most amazeing day. We had so many postive comments from our guests about the venue, food, rooms etc... staff were fantastic... deffinatly need to mention Gemma cook who helped us organise everything for our special day, she really did help us to make it so personal & individual to us... and also annabelle & jade who ran our whole day & made everything run smoothly.... they made what would of been a stressful & nervous day completely stress free & made us enjoy every minute of it... we could not of asked for two better people to help organise our day... many thanks to everyone at hogarths from Mrs & Mrs Turner-Dawson x

This place will always hold a special place in our hearts as we got married we, we frequently visit for lunch and drinks and it’s always he best food and service ! Also if your thinking of having Hogarths as your venue for your wedding, do! They make it so magical and nothing is too much to ask! The girls are fab!

Stayed at this hotel and must say one of the nicest hotels we were in the Winter room and wasn’t disappointed stunning decor well recommend the hotel. We had a meal in the brassiere and was lovely thank you for a pleasant stay hopefully see you soon ��

I had hogarths recommended to me

By a family member as I was looking for a lovely location for my sisters baby shower for more than 20 people, from the start the staff couldn’t of been any more accommodating. They gave me so much information and I was impressed from the start. Once going to view the room it was more perfect than I could of imagined the scenery was stunning and the room was also amazing. The baby shower couldn’t of been anymore perfect we had our own terrace we had use of and lucky for us weather was beautiful, the staff was so friend and helpful and couldn’t do enuff for us and the afternoon tea we had in the baby shower package was absolutely beautiful. There was not a fault within the day one bit. My sister had a fantastic day and she loved it I will defo recommend hogarths to all friends and family and talk about our amazing day for a very long time xx thank u again

Had our Xmas party there last night and it was fantastic. We had the use of a private function room (the glass walled one by reception) and the food and service was exceptional.



We’ve been before and we’ll probably go again!!

Great hotel, contemporary, friendly, efficient, good vibe.. only complaint is price of drinks a bit high..e.g. Grolsch £5 a pint, 250ml glass of Chardonnay £8.75.. but hotels always mark up.. we had a great time though and would return..

Always love to visit hogarths! A really special place to me and my wife as its where we got married :) love to go to all thier special events like mothers day, valentines day etc :) best hotel, restaurant and staff service around :)

Attended a wake and the staff handled things well and made sure everyone were comfortable and were looked after.



The food was supplied by outside caterers and was superb.



I used to use Hogarths a lot but went off the place as I felt their standards had slipped especially the service but after yesterday I will return and try them again.

At a small conference for just a couple of hours so can't comment too much but the staff were great, the food was great. Only problem was we were in what basically seemed to be a tent. Wind howling and snow falling. There were heaters but, have to say, they weren't really adequate. Obviously the conditions were very unusual. On any other day we would probably have found no cause to complain at all.

Worst Christmas party ever last night!

We came last year and had an amazing time but this year was a disaster.

We was put into a small room as they had a wedding on the same night with the smallest bar for the large amount of people!



We all booked together as a party and they had separated us onto two different tables which would be fine except the one table was across the room with a wall in the way so we couldn’t even see each other!



The dance floor was only big enough for about 10 people so once one table got up to dance it was full and everyone else had to squish onto the carpet between the tables and chairs.



The women’s toilets where awful and not checked on all night as after 10.00 there was no toilet paper and it was a mess!



The dj was shocking and you couldn’t hear a word he said!

Really disappointed with the standard of the Christmas party on December 9th. We were put into a Conference room rather than the Williams Suite, it was far too small for the size of the party. We paid full price for a far less expensive (or impressive) room. The most disappointing thing was the customer service response: on the table was one voucher per person to 10% off the brasserie- this is what I was offered by Lucy when I emailed (so wasn't really offered anything!) She also said next year 20% could be taken off the Christmas party price.. I was more annoyed by this response than the party itself! She didn't reply to my last email.

I used to work at Hogarths and chose, and planned, our Christmas party night there because it was always beautiful, especially at Christmas, unfortunately all of my party, and others, were really disappointed.
