The Hogs Back Brewery is an independent brewery based in Tongham, Surrey. Our flagship real ale, ‘TEA’ (Traditional English Ale), has proved to be a favourite of cask conditioned ale drinkers throughout the UK and is the proud winner of many awards.

We may have made a beautiful accident at the Brewery. Our 2017 vintage of our Barley Wine, A Over T has undergone an unexpected secondary fermentation in the bottle and has taken on the sweet and sharp characteristics of a Belgian Sour Beer. It's dividing opinion here at the brewery with some people loving it and some not so much but we'd love to hear your opinion!

Very good tour. Very generous with the tasters. Probably totalling about 4 pints, and a glass. Interesting, fun, and the tour guide was extremely funny.

Thus is an excellent tour with free flowing samples of Hogs Back beer. Tour guide was brilliant, funny and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend
Third tour with Noel as our guide on Wednesday and had a great time as usual especially as my wife was driving so I had most of hers as well,headache in the morning though. It has given me two more choices should T.E.A or Gardeners tipple not be available and a shame I couldn't buy Farnham White there as I tried it in Monmouth last week and it went down a treat,have to go to Waitrose I suppose. Thanks guys and see you on the next one🤝

Not just TEA. Wonderful array of beers from all over the World. Who'd have thought there was so much to choose from. Especially enjoy the Tailgate Peanut Butter Milk Stout. The Hazy Hog cider is somewhat splendid, hic <3

Lovely afternoon at Hop Haverest party , good beer cider and hot dog, music a bit loud for me ,could do with a few more stalls ,maybe a charity raffle ,and supervising on bouncing castle a bit of a free for all 👍
Loved it. Present for husband last Christmas nearly 12 months later and what a fantastic end of year surprise. Brilliant loved the beer and loved the people. Thoroughly enjoyed thank you x despite being the only girl it's the best present I have ever bought my hubby! X

Love the Hogs back brewery , 9 pints of TEA for around £20 ish is a no brainer , BBQ beers at a great taste and great price . Friendly bunch , go and browse the shop ... Beer and cider heaven 👍👍🍺🍺
Love the Hazy Hog nothing better after walking the dog in the summer!
Just had a tour 10.30am) . Mel was an amazing tour guide .... His jokes got better as the beer, larger and ssssssider flowed . Thank had a brilliant time with other rrrf and dooorter .... If I have any advice ... Do not drive ... 5 star fun.
Just had a brilliant tour of the brewery. The tour guide should be on stage not only funny like really funny but very knowledgeable. Tasted some great ales a lager and cider. Great Saturday night. Will Definitely be back with friend's soon. �
I love the hogs back brewery. I first visited when my sister and brother in law paid for a brewery tour. Mel was hilarious, and the beer was amazing. I visit regularly and love the range of beers you do. Staff are really knowledgeable and friendly whenever I go into the shop, and even prepared to help you out to the car with your purchases which is a really nice touch. I am now a member of their Tea members club and went to the last event at Christmas, which was a very enjoyable evening.
Can’t wait to book my next tour with my friend.
I bought a voucher tour for my husband @ Christmas. He took our son-in-law with him & both had a great time by all accounts ! My daughter & I picked them up from the shop along with their purchases . . . . .
Had an incredible tour with Melvin yesterday. Such a character and a wealth of knowledge on the local area and brewery. Highly recommend and will be along again soon!

Fantastic tour with an excellent guide and generous helpings of HBB, Surrey Nirvana, TEA, Hogstar and Hazy Hog in your souvenir half pint glass. Well-stocked shop with beer available to take away in various sizes, and lots of guest bottled and canned beers to explore upstairs. Great value for money.
Fantastic selection of ales. This is what beer is all about. Great place, great tour, great Ales!!!
Excellent tour, lots of great booze. And we are having the yummy sausages for breakfast now. Would highly recommend, it’s well worth the money. Just book a taxi, they give you more to drink then expected 😊
Excellent tour! Mel was the perfect guide, he was witty, informative and a genial host. The ales were excellent as was the Lager and Cider. Very good value for money and I would recommend to others.
Being a place that stocks cider, this place couldn't possibly fail for me.. got a free taster from an old chap who looked like he was the owner and had an excellent knowledge of cider. Even the queen has had a pint here. Bought some cider, a t shirt, a mat for my empty glasses and will be back in September... Get yourself down here if your in the area

As a local to Ash for 6 yrs it is a crime I have only just done this tour. Took 7 friends and we all left happy and full of Ale, lager and cider. Mel was a very funny host and the tour was informative as well. Will certainly look to go back.
