... Dogs - Katie has settled well with the other dogs at Holbrook but is also very happy in her own company. He isn’t always happy to share her space so we feel Katie would be suited as an only dog.
Cats - Katie has not been cat tested.
Children - Katie has not lived with children, due to her becoming worried in certain situations we suggest dog savvy children of 12 years +.
Personality - Katie settled straight in at Holbrook and instantly enjoyed the attention from the volunteers, she is a happy and inquisitive dog but can be a little worried by strangers; causing her to bark and retreat. She enjoys being groomed and close interaction with the people she knows. * Please see additional information*
Suitable home - Katie will need a home with someone there a lot of the time to help her settle. A quieter home would suit Katie as she can be a little worried around strangers. Katie needs a home that will continue with her confidence building. * Please see additional information*
Additional information: Katie has joined the group walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. She walks well on lead, doesn’t pull and shows little reaction to passing traffic. Katie is still a little unsure of the world outside of Holbrook and of strangers but we will continue to work on this while she is at Holbrook. We feel she will also progress well in the right home.

This is Gracie, she is 5/6 years old.
Gracie gets on well with the other dogs at Holbrook and enjoys a good romp with them, she can be homed with a male companion dog of the same age or as an only dog if she gets plenty of interaction with other dogs on her daily walks.
Gracie is an exuberant and very happy dog and she shows it through her play. Gracie can be nervous of strangers entering the home, this will need continued work
... Gracie is looking for a home with someone there most of the time, a home that will continue to work on her lead training. Gracie loves the interaction with all the volunteers and would suit a family that give her plenty of attention and play.

🐕🛌Honey was nicely snuggled up on her bed today, we tried to encourage her out for a stroll, but there was no way she was going out in the rain! Who would blame her?

Jackson is currently looking for a new home due to no fault of his own.
Jackson, a cross staffi pug, is almost two and a half years old and is looking for a home with a companion dog. He has lived with children and other dogs. He enjoys lots of nice long walks, he is reasonable on the lead and his recall is getting better.
Jackson would like someone around most of the time as he doesn't like being left. He needs someone who will have time to continue with his training ide...ally with staffi experience.

🐕🐾I took this gorgeous girl Izzy on the group walk today. It never ceases to amaze me how confident she is now on the lead compared to a couple of months ago when she wouldn't even allow us to put on a lead.🥰
🐕🏡🐕Izzy is a very sociable little girl so is looking for a home with a companion dog to help her settle, and who will have fun and will enjoy a game of chase.

Super cute, 3 year old Theo is looking for his forever 🏡 home, what a character he is😍, smart too! Theo has settled fabulously at Holbrook and today we practiced his sit and some lead walking; he’s a real little star ⭐️. Dogs - Theo has settled well with the other dogs at Holbrook, he is quite happy in his own company therefore can be homed as an only dog (providing he gets the chance to interact with other dogs) or with a companion.
Cats – Theo has not been cat tested
Children – Although Theo is a friendly dog we are unaware of his past history therefore recommend children of 10 years +.
Personality – Theo is a typical of breed busy little terrier, he loves attention and is very much focused on his human. He is smart and interacts well with the other dogs at Holbrook. He enjoys affection and will make a wonderful, loyal companion. Theo has such a lot of character for a little dog.
Suitable home - Theo will need someone home much of the time to help him settle. He will need a family that are committed to continue his training, he’s a smart dog and likes to learn. Theo also likes to run so will need a home that will give him plenty of exercise.
Additional information- Theo responds well during 1-2-1 sessions and has already mastered ‘Sit’. Although we have not been out of the centre, Theo has walked beautifully on lead around the paddock. We will continue lead work during his time at Holbrook.
