Holiday Inn Express Chester Racecourse
Reviews
Clean, modern hotel in an excellent location just a short walk from the city centre. Next to the railway but good sound insulation meant we weren't disturbed. Discounts available for hotel guests at the nearby White Horse pub and 1539 bar.
The room, bed, and bathroom were all nice. But around 3am we had some very noisy neighbours that had their tv loud and were shouting and banging on doors for three hours. When we complained we were dismissed as “no one else complained, a member of staff patrols the floors every hour”.
The room was nice but customer service was awful.
Excellent stay. Spotlessly clean, spacious bedrooms. Ideal how close to town it was. Breakfast fantastic. Highly recommend and will be staying again when next visit Chester.
Second stay in a week and once again can't find fault. Staff, service, room and breakfast all to a very high standard. Will always stay here when in the area.
Clean and comfortable room. Staff very friendly and forthcoming with help and advice. Easy 5-10 minute walk to shopping and maim tourist attraction areas. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.
Within walking distance of the city centre. Rooms reasonably sized. Reception staff friendly and helpful.
Great location and very clean and tidy. Friendly staff, fantastic overnight stay
Lovely hotel the staff were friendly and the breakfast was a bit basic but very tasty. The pork and leek sausages were gorgeous! Rooms were a little noisy due to connecting door to next room. I would definitely stay again.
Nice friendly staff. Good breakfast. Heater did not work in room so it was cold. Had to go to reception to borrow heater. Some maintenance is required. Will not stay here again. £9.00 for two drinks.
