The Holland family a brief history.
Through the generations a love for travel has been an important part of our family history with France and Singapore being just two of many places that we hold dear, also a love for cars and motorbikes has been passed down. Holland descendants can always be found at bike rallys, and the family have owned many Harleys, a 1913 Indian single speeder and a Brock-house Corgi in the family since 1963, just to name a few and it would be great to see your bikes outside the diner too (Bike Nights are Wednesday! ). As a family we do love a good laugh from a monkey named Paul steering Gordon by his hair to children and chickens in the pond, but these are stories for another time! A lot of the memorabilia in the diner are items that have been passed down through generations and so have personal history too, the plane hanging in the diner has a big place in our hearts. Also look out for a 1934 BSA three-wheeler affectionately known in the family as ‘Baby’ who often sits at the diner door for special occasions.

The Diner is a family run business set up to share a taste of a 1950’s style American diner, we pride ourselves on our delicious all American food, and are proud of our friendly and helpful staff – who have become an extended family to us- and strive to create a lively atmospheric experience. As Chris says: ‘Initially people come in for the atmosphere, but they come back for the food. ’ The diner offers a wider range of American style food including a special ‘New York, New York’ burger as well as gluten free and vegetarian options.
