Hollingworth Lake Caravan Park

Road congested with pedestrians very dangerous for drivers. no road sense or awareness of cars something needs put in place to protect the pedestrians

Nice place to camp and a great area for walks

I booked the campsite for my sons birthday ,we were going to take ten of his friends camping as part of his birthday celebrations. I found the owners of the campsite to be quite obstructive inflexible and rude from the get go. Received a call less than 24 hours before to cancel the booking this totally ruined the weekend of not only my son but ten 11 year olds . again found the owners to be rude and arrogant

Great day had by all, dogs had freedom as safe away from the road. Would visit again and stay longer

Our first time out in our motorhome, we live in rochdale and chose to stay here for 1 night,we could have been anywhere, it was beautiful, the site had everything you need,brilliant for dogs,nice walks,will definitely stay here again.

Love it here. Not too far to travel for us & feels like 100 miles away. Lovely walks round the lake

Needs updating a bit. No card machine to pay and a bit dated. Good location though

Very basic - its a field with a toilet block. A bog standard camp site - good for local families taking the kids for a night away, and some lovely walks nearby.
