A top result for Julian Parry who borrowed Dave Smith‘s Phantom during last weekends race in the Marlow Ropes Tipsy Icicle series at Leigh & Lowton SC. Third place in the handicap fleet. https://www.yachtsandyachting.com/…/Mar low-Ropes-Leigh-and-…

This Saturday morning from about 8am until midday the safety boat will be launched in the harbour as the trailer is needed for work on the other boat. If anyone is wanting a sail, and has a safety boat crew then with the boat launched it may be a good chance to get out. The rib will be lock to the harbour wall using the committee boat lock, so please drop us a private message if you dont have access to a key.

Friday night saw a great turnout for our latest social event. 54 people turned up for a great night of Caribbean food and fun hosted by Andy and Elmarie Carter aided and abetted by their family. Coconut shy, walking the plank and other fun and games were followed by a lovely meal of jerk chicken, rice and peas. The prize for best costume went to Richard Hodgson. This Wednesday there is a talk about birdwatching in the area. 7.30pm start. On 23rd jan it is our annual Burns Night meal. Please sign up in the clubhouse or let Christine Heywood know if you would like to attend.

The boat park clearout begins. Two decent looking 10 inch wheels (found attached to a rotten trailer). They need a bit of air. Theres loads of tread, tyres are from 2006.
If anyone wants them it's a £5 donation PER WHEEL to the RNLI. They are behind my boat on berth 47. Help yourself and send proof of your donation. I'd like to think I can trust you :-)
The mudguard is free to a good home.
