Changes to the Chippy, From Monday 23rd March
Things are changing daily, but this is our plan for the week ahead.
NEW OPENING HOURS ARE ... 11.30 - 2 - Then 4.30 - 7PM Monday - Friday
ūüõĎ No more than 2 Customers are allowed in the shop at the same time - Place your order, then wait out side till you are called back in.
ūüõĎ Whilst outside stand 1 Metre apart
ūüõĎ Do not Touch the Counter or any Hard Surfaces in the shop
‚úÖ Telephone Orders ARE being taken and Payment CAN BE made by Bank Transfer - we would ask that only the Most AT RISK people use this service - as it WILL slow the shop down - until we get to grips with the new changes
ūüôĄOUR CARD machine is currently broke ūüėď - but hopefully we should have a replacement By mid-week
‚̧ԳŹPlease give priority to the Elderly - Expectant Mother‚Äôs and any Key Workers in the Queue
We still cannot get any hand sanitizers for our customers - but if you are eating on the go - we can give you a pair of disposable gloves and a disinfectant wipe
We will stay open for as long as we feel it is safe to do so - or we are told otherwise

Our staff are truly amazing.. they work tirelessly to provide the best food and service to our customers.
As of next week we will be reducing our opening hours - not only to take care of of staff but also our customers.

Good morning,
Due to the empty shelf’s in supermarkets it’s playing heavily on our minds, that local people especially the elderly or less able (due to cash flow etc) are unable to buy essential items.
Therefore we have ordered some extra potatoes this week.
... If you know an elderly person who is struggling, and can’t leave their house, please send us a message and we will drop off a carrier bag of potatoes for them.
This isn’t for publicity- likes or shares
It’s for the community
We are open as usual, and will do so for as long as we are able to.
