Dissapointing 4 night stay. A very tired looking room. Dirty windows. Bedding inadequate (mattress lumpy, small & has seen better days). If you didn't have back problems before chances are, you would be in the running when you departed. Duvet questionable. Underneath bed, carpet thick with dust. Childs plastic Blue egg found? Toilet door incorrectly hung. Noisy to close/open. Window jammed shut & handle broken. Not very good emergency exit point if required. Pungent smell, drainage system/piping maybe? Not a very inviting facility.
On departure we were not asked for any feedback whatsoever? That saya it all.
Fòod was good lunch with about 100 people staff quick plates hot bar prices reasonable hotel a bit dated though
Could do with a lick of paint and some new flooring but a nice place to visit
Went for a wedding, beautiful set up, great bar service but a bit expensive.
Our host Ian always makes the extra effort
to ensure our meal is particularly enjoyable.
Quality of food, service and value for money -
5 star. Dining room always meticulously prepared
to ensure a relaxed atmosphere.
Always accommodates our request for a
late booking whether Sunday lunch or evening.
Violet on the piano an enjoyable accompaniment
to the meal.
