We had another lovely bunch of helpers from Sheffield University last month - all international students. They worked hard at preparing the vegetable beds for next year. Thank you everyone.

"Give It A Go" University Students volunteered at Holly Hagg on 24th October and 4th November. They made a big impact, clearing brambles and vegetable beds. The alpacas kept them entertained of course.

For the first 3 years Holly Hagg was submerged in long meadow grass. In August 2014 we went to Bakewell Show and met a pen of delightful alpacas including Gordon, Griffin and Sanday. We got talking and 6 weeks later they moved to Holly Hagg. We never guessed how much they would change our lives!

Alpaca trek tickets available for tomorrow Saturday 17th November, Tuesday 17th and Sunday 25th. Prices go up in December (and Reinpaca treks start!) so book early to get the lower price and beautiful autumn colours. Pumbaa, the little llama in the black suit is learning to meet young visitors. It's all part of his training and if he passes, he will be joining us at Holly Hagg in April. Wish him well!

What a fabulous time we had! Such a hands on experience and a great way to relax! The Alpacas are such amazing creatures and very intuitive! Loved my ‘hair’ twin Nimbus! Recommend for any age group. �����

What a brilliant day out with the Alpaca pack. Such calm inquisitive creatures. Friendly informative volunteers, perfectly paced walk and plenty time to take photos. Worth it at twice the price. 10/10 would recommend.

We had such an amazing time here today! The alpacas are adorable and the volunteers are friendly, helpful and very informative. Thoroughly enjoyed a lovely calm walk through some beautiful countryside, although I spent most of my time looking at the alpacas!!! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you!!

We had such a fantastic day! My 6 year old loved that she had her own lead to walk Griffin, who was gorgeous and so well behaved! She’s already asking to come back. Big thank you to all involved, we all loved it and will definitely be back �

We came on the 30th of June and walked Griffin, he is a very headstrong and curious alpaca, had a great time walking him and seeing the others out and about, really enjoyable morning, only improvement would be a car park. Thank you.

Took my best friend here as a surprise early birthday present. Safe to say she had the best day ever, we all did! Such a good/fun/hilarious/unique experience which I will never forget. All run by volunteers, who were all so lovely! P.s - I highly recommend to walk Teddy, he’s such a little cutie��

Such a fantastic experience, had the best day can’t wait to book again, daughter fallen in love with Gordon who likes to follow at the back, they are all great characters well worth a visit.

My daughter bought me tickets to the alpaca trek as a mothers day gift. What an amazing gift! Claire and the other volunteers are clearly passionate about the alpaca’s and the charitable work they do at Holly Hagg. Treylawny my alpaca was such a gentle soul, they all were. We enjoyed a lovely walk theough the rivelin valley and claire talked to us about caring for the animals and their history. It was such a lovely experience and an absolute must. Thank you so much, we loved it

My boyfriend bought me this trek for my birthday and I loved it!!! Easy to find and park. Well treated animals. Very knowledgeable and friendly guides who were well organised and know their animals well. Perfect length of walk and stops for photos. I couldn’t recommend it enough and a very worth while community run organisation!!

I brought my daughter and her boyfriend here on Saturday 30th June, 2018 as it was a surprise for my daughters' 21st Birthday. What an absolutely fabulous day we had, the weather was gorgeous and the whole experience was professional, very friendly and relaxed. We walked with Nimbus, who was a real cool customer and Forest, who was really cheeky and every time you took your eyes off him, he would try and sneak food! The staff were really lovely, full of information and made it very clear that they all love what they do, and it really made our day something special. It really was worth every penny, and we will be visiting again. Thanks so much for a wonderful day! Angela, Ruby and Riley.

Had a wonderful trek with Sanday. Both me and my friend really enjoyed our visit. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and the alpacas are beautiful! We were at the back with Sanday and he was a joy to walk. Will definitely be returning and recommending it to everyone I know.

We were lucky enough to walk with the lovely ‘Forest’ who not only looked gorgeous but was on his best behaviour. The volunteers were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our walk through beautiful woodland and lanes. A fantastic experience!

The staff were really informative and explained exactly how we had to walk the alpacas.

It was a really relaxing experience as the alpacas are a lovely quiet and rather shy animal and so cute!

Would recommend to anyone who loves animals.

Came here on Saturday 29th June with my granddaughter and some friends, we loved every minute of it the staff was friendly and the alpacas was well behaved we had teddy and he was lovely. My 6 year old granddaughter Lilly can’t wait to come again. All the staff should be proud of them selfs has they do a great job looking after the alpacas.

Came here on 18th August for my sister's hen do and had an absolutely fantastic time. It was the most relaxing experience and very well organised. The trek leaders were incredibly knowledgeable about the alpacas and so friendly. I can't recommend this highly enough!
