Holme made Bakery has been open for over 20 years as it is a family run business that has been trading as butchers and bakers for over a century.

We pride ourselves in the fact that 90% of our products are made on site or at our own wholesale bakery located further down the village, fresh produce with top quality ingredients are guaranteed on a daily basis.

Whether it’s a wholesome breakfast; we offer bacon and sausage sandwiches, breakfast Panini’s with the full works. . . . . . Laverack’s sausages, bacon, mushroom, eggs and tomatoes or something lighter perhaps a toasted teacake with a Rijo Cappuccino. We can even cater for the healthier eater with our extensive range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a banana or apple might be what you need till lunch!
Lunch time at Lavarack’s is always a busy one. We offer a huge selection of freshly made hot and cold sandwiches, always ensuring we have a diverse choice of ‘specials of the day’ to suit all tastes. Available in bread cakes, Panini’s, salad boxes or jacket potatoes. We have become renowned for our Roast of the day sandwiches, joints of local meat all supplied from our butchers, sliced and stewed in gravy. Why not try our Roast Pork sandwich available with apple sauce, crackling and sage and onion stuffing?

Whether its lunch or an evening meal our large selection of Holme made pastries, should be enough to tempt your taste buds. Now stocking speciality sausage rolls along side our ever popular traditional flakey and short crust pastry sausage rolls. We also have a wide choice selection of steak pies and chicken pies in a varying of sizes, again all baked daily in our wholesale bakery down the road. Since our renovation we have added many new lines to our savoury selection including Holme Made Pizza and Calzones, Cheese straws and twists, vegetarian slices and Holme Made quiches to name but a few.

Not forgetting our large selection of bread traditionally baked locally. We can offer speciality loaves such as olive and rosemary, cheesy topped, or walnut to a variety of bread cakes, cobs and sliced loaves, which allow you to make your lunch at home yourselves if you so desire, as all our home cooked meats are available to buy per slice as well as pots of all our sandwich fillings and the trademark “Holme Made Coleslaw” not to be missed.

In addition to fresh fruit and vegetables we have a small display of jams, chutneys, marmalades, local honey, cooking sauces and oils; all locally sourced and produced. The final icing on the cake! ; Our Cakes and Bakes selection; All homemade behind the scenes, delights such as fruit pies, flapjacks and brownies, speciality tray bakes and celebration cakes. Our stock is always fresh and exciting and our cooks are always trying out new ideas and new ingredients.
