Holmesbake Description
We are a pop up kitchen, catering for lunchtime trade in central London. We use fresh ingredients daily. Our menu consists mainly of pies. These include:
Chicken, Spinach and Leek (in a velvety white wine sauce)
Aberdeen Angus Steak and Ale. . . (Optional chorizo or blue cheese, depending on our daily specials) Welsh Lamb hot pot pie, with rosemary and shallots. . . . Venison, Wood Pigeon (not the London type) and Pork slowly cooked in red wine and port.
We also do a small amount of vegetarian pies.
Our pies come with a selection of sides, which include buttery mash potato (maris pipers), Green Beans, Broccoli and some freshly grated horse radish in crème fraiche with lemon zest. Our meat pies are £5. 00 and the chicken and veg options are £4. 50 or you can go large for an extra 80p.
We are now cooking Jacob’s ladder (beef ribs) with our own chilli BBQ sauce for £5. 00.
